Meanwhile as i finish cleaning up my area after doing my clients lashes i remember that Naomi is coming over since kai is picking us up to go to one of his family event as i recall it's a welcome party for his cousin i never really met him besides his other cousin which was couple years ago as i finish cleaning up i heard a knock on the door i figured it was Naomi so i greeted her in.

"Heyyy girl i missed you" she walks In excitedly hugging me

"hii pooks i miss ya too even tho you was here yesterday" i said as i hugged her back laughing

Me and Naomi go way back since our elementary days that's when we met ever since then we been stuck together

"soo you know what you gonna wear later on tonight since Kai got us a section " Naomi sits down talking to Sevyn

"Yeah I wonder who all coming through speaking of kai how are y'all"

I sometimes forget both of my bestfriends mess around i always tell them if they have any issues going on don't include me in it i hate picking sides it just feels awkward

"yeah we're good and i believe his friends but girl you better go get ready you know he hates waiting for us " she says while going through her phone

As we're on the way to Kai's family party he mentioned that it's gonna be at the park which is good since i didn't overdress or anything just have on something simple as we pull up to the park full of Kai's family out barbecuing

"I'm finna go look for dre real quick" while kai walk off

I spotted his parents and signaled Naomi so we can go speak

"well if it isn't my favorite people " I walked up and hug his parents
"hey miss thing are you hungry?" as she smiled

"yesss ma'am i sure am"i nodded and followed kais mom to go make my plate.
