Now that we were at the party we had our finished outfits with Evie's designated makeovers. So Freya's (It has her name by it) then we had part (one) of me and Lily.  Since Evie wanted us to have similar eyeshadow looks to each other along with me looking similar to Mal. Then we had part (two) of mine and part (two) of Lily's. The place looked amazing and Lonnie was spinning some beats while we waited for the rest of the party to continue or get started or whatever. Ally came up to the stage. It's time for the crowning of the Neon Lights Ball king and queen. She announced. Ben and Evie were given their little crowns with plastic gems as Evie got out her phone. Aw the jewels match my eyes she gushed. Even though they were plastic. I look so good I don't even need a filter she admired herself. I'm kind of new to the whole crown thing but I'm pretty sure fake plastic gems aren't supposed to poke you in the skull Ben complained as he took it off his head. While Mal and I snickered.

Beauty is pain she told him. Then I'm gorgeous he said back to her a dopey little smile on his face. But Evie wasn't listening as she fluffed her hair agreeing with us looking at herself in the mirror. And then Ally announced it was time for the king and queen to do a solo dance. Dance for me she turned to Mal. I've got a date with some bling she announced before she walked away. Oh Crownie I love you she cooed as Mal and I rolled our eyes. Did my queen just dump me for some fake jewelry Ben asked fake offended. She sure did I started. But you gotta admit they do make a lovely couple Mal teased. They do he agreed but I can't let "Crownie" out dance me he finished. Shall we? He offered his arm to Mal. We shall she accepted as they went to the middle of the dance floor for their solo slow song dance. But then there were more problems.

The music hadn't started yet. Where's the music? She asked as we looked around and I shrugged at her. Maybe it's a really slow slow dance. Ben suggested. Then we looked up at Ally. Um excuse me for a moment she started. She covered the mic and asked Lonnie what was going on. Since she was the DJ for the night. IDK what happened she started. Nothing's working she said pushing random buttons. As I went over to inspect. I bent down when I saw something wrong. Drew her attention to the cut wires. She picked it up. Someone cut the equipment cord. She held them up for everyone to see. Oh please do be careful at least those wires aren't connected to anything. Ally announced we were having some technical difficulties. I frowned this upset me everything was falling apart this week. And I was sure all eyes would be on me Mal and the other VKs if not just me and Mal or just me or Mal. Whether it was our fault or not. The crowd started to moan and groan as she leapt off the stage and told everyone to please hold.

She came up to Mal and Ben as Freddie looked over listening to what Ally was saying about the DJ cord being cut. And it was almost too perfect when we asked who and was worried about this when Freddie said not to worry because she'd sing for us. She was playing the fake oh no me a hero bit but it seemed she was ready for something like this to happen. Oh no please I insist I mean it she said as she walked up to the stage. She even had a guitar ready as we all turned our attention to her. Seriously go on dance. She instructed as she started singing.

It started as a slow solo song as just Ben and Mal as Freddie started and at some point somehow someway the DJ equipment started working again. And then shortly after Evie Jordan Mal Lily Freya myself Ally all got up on stage and started dancing with Freddie and then Ben Carlos and Jay joined us on stage and half way through so did Audrey and Jane until we all followed her off the stage and into the middle of the room in one big group. I guess it wasn't a problem with the equipment after Lonnie used her phone system through the DJ equipment.

People taking her photo and her video I'm sure it would end up on the web show. While this was great it was also a little too convient. Almost as if it it was all planned. And according to Jordan before all of us joined Freddie she said from what she saw Freddie had totally just saved the party. IDK why you guys are throwing her shade?! She asked Jane and Audrey. They were confused so Jordan explained that throwing shade was like talking trash with your eyes. As Mal and Ben danced together before any of us went up there Audrey pointed out it did seem strange how this all just so happened to happen after the DJ cord got cut. And she was ready to jump in ready to sing. Maybe she wanted to help? Jordan suggested. Though it was more likely she had something to do with it but I didn't want to think that way and I didn't want the other AKs to think that way. Freddie was-is cool. She's not as "evil" as the original VKs thought they once were. Jane suggested she wanted the spotlight while Audrey of course suggested she was the one that cut the cord in the first place.

You better stop trash talking before you cut a vocal cord. I stepped in. Whose side are you on? She turned back to Jordan. Because I know this little VK wannabe is on their side. The side that writes songs that good. Jordan and I agreed. I smell something viral she sing songed. Go on girl! We cheered for her. When she finished we all cheered for her and when she finished Lonnie played her off blowing kisses out to the rest of us as she exited the stage. Planned or not she had been amazing.
