Chapter 9: Ice Cream & Kisses

Alice's POV:

Today, Lucifer and I are going on a date. Our first one as a couple. We plan to go to the park, get some ice cream, wherever the wind takes us.

I'm so happy. I've loved him for so long. Ever since I first saw him.

"Alice, you ready to go?" He says, slightly impatient. I finished tying up my laces and walked to him. Taking his hand, I said "Let's go!" And ran out the door.

When me and Urushihara arrived at the park, we went to get ice cream!

"Yus!" I shouted, beginning to eat my chocolate ice cream. I looked up at Urushihara, smiling, making him chuckle. "What's so funny?" I asked, tilting my head.

"You have chocolate all over your face!" He said. I reached to get a tissue out of my bag, but he stopped me. "It's okay, I'll get it." He said. He leant in and pecked my nose, my cheek and the corner of my mouth, making me blush like a tomato. Smiling, he took my hand, fingers interlocking, and began to walk.

We soon arrived at a quieter place in the park. Up on a hill, overlooking the city. We sat down on a bench, me leaning my head on his shoulder.

It was great. Until a certain purple-haired demon wiped strawberry ice cream all over my cheek. Making somewhat of a squeal, I leapt up. Lucifer sat there, laughing his ass off. Smirking, I remembered. I still had mine. Walking up to him, I leant down and shoved it in his face. I burst out laughing.

Then he stood up and started walking towards me. Snapping his head up, he began laughing creepily, and ran after me with the remains of his ice cream.

Soon, our faces were covered in ice cream, and we sat down again. I got my tissues out of my bag and cleared up his face. "Wow, it's all in your hair too!" I said, giggling.

After he was finished clearing up, he did my face for me. Soon enough we'd cleared up. He wrapped an arm round my waist and my shoulders, pulling me into his chest. We cuddled for a couple of minutes until we realised we should probably get home. Pecking his lips, we stood up.

"Aww! See Geoffrey, there's still some innocence left in the world. How cute young love is." We heard from behind us. Turning around, we saw an old couple sitting on a bench. The old woman smiled at us and spoke again. "It's people like you that makes the world such a wonderful place. Now go on, you'd better get home before it gets dark!" Clutching Urushihara's hand, we walked away.

Back Home!

Me and Lucifer soon arrived home, hand in hand. We didn't even need to say anything. We were just comfortable in each other's company. We got ready for bed, and then laid down together, our nightly routine.

"Hey, Luci-chan?"
"Yeah?"
"I love you."
"I love you too"
