'Of all the animals, man is the only one that is cruel. He is the only one that inflicts pain for the pleasure of doing it.' - Mark Twain

Reid sat across the table from Prentiss. Cups of coffee between them. Prentiss stared down into her cup, dark hair partially veiling her face.

"Where do you want to start?" Reid asks.

"Her name is Aurora James, but she always said she preferred Rory. Aurora made her sound too much like a Disney princess" Prentiss said chuckling a little at the memory.

"How did you meet her?" Reid asks. Prentiss doesn't raise her gaze.

"I met her at Interpol, we worked a couple of cases together. She had the unique ability to work with victims and families. She could use them to create a profile. Had a way to see their pain and who would have inflicted it," Spencer fought the edge to interrupt but it was like Prentiss was in a trance as she spoke. "And oh God she is so young Spence," Prentiss says her voice shaking, "she's younger than you. We need to help her."

"Emily I need you to calm down, you can't help her like this," Reid says, taking one of her hands in his.

"Reid!" Garcia exclaims bursting into the room. Both Reid and Prentiss jump up from where they're sitting. Panic written across Garcia's face, she falters slightly catching sight of Prentiss.

"I, uh, well," she stumbles over her words.

"Garcia what is it?" Spencer asks his brow furrowing slightly.

"I, uh, hacked into the laptop the camera is streaming from. I can't triangulate the exact location but we can speak to her and hopefully get some clues about where she is. And then we can find her," Garcia rambles hands fidgety.

"Then why do you need me?" Spencer asks.

"She said she'd been drugged, she needs to know we're real and I..." she falters again. Spencer's heart thuds loudly in his chest. Images flashing through his mind. The farm. The chair he was tied to. It suddenly felt all too familiar, and the walls were closing in on him. Before he knew it, he was rushing from the room. The urgency to save her more real. He understood more than most what this moment was like. Being watched. Being drugged against your will. He didn't stop until he reached Garcia's office. He sat in her chair pulling himself towards her computer. Watching as the girl on the screen clenched her hands into fists before opening them wide, repeating the movement. Her eyes closed tightly.

"Hey Rory?" He says, his voice dry like he hadn't drunk water in years. Her eyes fly open locking on his.

"Who are you?" She asks as he takes in her green eyes. Pupils dismayed unnaturally.

"Who are you?" She asks. Her voice weak.

"I'm Dr Spencer Reid, I work for the BAU. I actually work with a friend of yours, Emily Prentiss" Rory's eyes get wider recognition flashing through them as he speaks.

"Is she there?" She asks, Prentiss steps behind him. In view of the camera.

"Hey Rory, long time no see," she says trying to keep her voice light.

"Thank God," Rory says and Spencer can see the tears pooling in her eyes at the sight of a familiar face.

"Do you know what he gave you?" Prentiss asks and Rory shakes her head.

"Not exactly, I'm pretty sure it's some type of super strong morphine. It's crystal clear and starts with a D," Rory says, "I saw the label once, but I can't remember exactly" Spencer tensed up, Garcia's eyes fixed on him. She didn't need to be a profiler to know something was wrong.
