"When did I say we are going together? You are going for a business meeting and I am going for a business trip." He explained and she nodded.

It's been a week since I went on the date with Priya. I had asked her to reconcider her decision. But, Today I got to know that she had not rejected the marriage decision. Instead, her family has asked mine to give us one month. After this month, we can take the final decision. I agreed to the decision reluctantly. I just don't want to drag her in my already messed up life.
My mom told me that her family is going to come at our place for dinner tonight. They will stay here today and leave tomorrow. I nodded and eft for my office. I have a very important business meeting today. I would have to secure this deal. It is a very profitable deals worth billions. I went to the officeonly to be greeted by Akshit Singhania.
He asked me about my date not without a teasing smile. I told him everything. He is like my right hand. He knows everything about me including my mafia work and my past. So, he also told me not to drag Priya into this and agreed with what I had told her. But he also tld me that I should move on but the past doesn't seem to let go of me. He also knows that I need time for all this.
My manager told me that the clients had arrived in the meeting room. I went to the meeting room, greeted the clients and started the meeting. The meeting ended after about an hour. It was a succesful meeting as I have secured the deal.
After the meeting, I went back home as it was already evening. When I reached home, I saw that the Singhania's had already arrived. I went to greet them. We had dinner together. Then, Mom told that I have to go to some birthday party with Priya so that we can spend some time together and get to knoe each other.
I agreed because it's just a month. I am not going to agree to this alliance. I talked to Priya.
"I tried to reject the marriage proposal. But my family asked me to at least spend a month with you." I nodded. I know she is as trapped as I am. I can't say anything on this.
"What about the birthday party?" I asked
"Oh that. It's a birthday party of my cousin, Sameer Gupta. It's just about some friends, cousins and close relatives. He had invited me. It's tomorrow."
"Okay." I said
"Do you want to attend it? It's just a party. You can go if you want to." She asked hesitantly.
"Okay. Atleast, I can do this for you. I would go." I stated because this alliance is not going to happen. We both are not ready for this. Besides, It's just a party. I have to go otherwise mom would cry again. That's why, I agreed. Then, we talked a little and went back to sleep.

Neeyat, Dhairya and I were sitting in Dhairya's room. Sameer had gone to some relative's house for two days. So, we decided to gather at Dhairya's house to decide about his birthday celebration. Sameer's birthday is after a week. It's also a great break from work after that boring business party.
"So, what have you planned to gift donkey." Dhairya asked
"I have planned to give him neon lights of his name, Sameer Gupta." Neeyat stated dramatically.
"That's good, but I think he needs a girlfriend as gift!" Dhairya said and we all laughed
"Stop these lame jokes and tell what have you decided" Neeyat said
"Ok, I am going to give him something you can taste but can't swallow." He said
I and Neeyat shared a look and started laughing.
"WHAT!" We both said simultaneously still in shock.
"Bubble gums! He love them, right, so yeah." He said casually
"So, say it like this na. We thought " She was about to say but I stopped her.
"What did you think?" That chimpanzee asked. We both fell silent. He thought for a while and said "Eww! guys you have such a dirty mind! How could you think like that!" He said as if he is so innocent.
"You said it like that only. You could also have told directly about Bubble gums." I said and Neeyat agreed.
Then, after some time, they asked about my gift but I refused to tell. I told that I would show it to them directly in the party. But, them being my friends, persuaded me and I told them about my gift. I will tell you all about my gift in the party only. We had decided our gifts. We had told Dhairya about not to give him only bubble gums. So, he decided to give hime bubble gums along with some chocolates and a friendship bracelet.
After a week,
We all gathered at Sameer's house.
"Guys, It's my birthday tomorrow. I can't believe it. I will turn 25 tomorrow." Sameer said excitedly. Although, he is very mature. but he is very excited about such occassions.
"Yes Oldie! Tomorrow you are really going to be old now." Dhairya said
"Shut up, you monkey. Anyways, have you all repared any gift for me?"
We all shook our head in denial.
"Come on, tell me!" He said being excited.
"Yes, we have. but we will directly give it to you tomorrow. Now, if you again asked about the gifts, we will not give to you."
I said and Sameer kept quiet. Then we discussed about the birthday celebration in Gupta mansion. Today, we are staying in Gupta mansion becase of his birthday. After chit chatting a little, We went to sleep.
