"Now, it's time for ring finding ceremony. Let's see who'll have an upper hand in this marriage." Mom said.

A plate with milk and rose petals was arranged. Various coins were also mixed in it. We settled at our places. Kabir and I looked at each other. Then, we diverted our gaze. She also put a ring in that plate. "So, there'll be three rounds. Whoever finds the ring the maximum number of times will have an upper hand in this wedding." She said.

We put our hands into the plate and started finding the rings.

"Bhabhi."

"Bhai."

Everyone started hooting. I found the ring in first round. In the second round, he had found it. It was the third round. We again started finding the ring. Our hands came in contact and I felt a different sensation in my body. We took out the ring at the same time. We both had found the ring at the same time. We exchanged a look.

"Now, you both will be having an equal hand in your marriage. Ek dam takkar ki Ishqbazzi hogi."

Vikram came behind me and said "Happy Love life, Dove." Hearing this, I left the ring and I started looking at him in shock.

"Are you serious?" I asked. He winked at me and said don't leave the ring I gave to you. It's a special one. Examine it properly once. Also, check your mehandi once. How dark the color is! I looked at my henna and it had a dark colour.

"Also." He was about to speak but I cut him off.

"Shut up, Vik. Just shut up." I said and everyone started looking at us. I diverted my gaze as if I am unaware of everyone's gaze on us. I started drinking water startled by everything that is happening. I looked at Vik and he gestured me to look at my mehndi where he had written his name. I looked at it and saw Kabir's name written on my hands. Then, I looked at my ring. Kabir and my name were encarved on the ring. The glass fell from my hands.

"What happened, beta?" They asked.

"What happened, Dove?" Vikram said with a smirk as if he doesn't know anything.

"Nothing, Just Vikram was telling me that he'll also apply mehndi of Priya's name on his hand. Such a loving husband he is." His smirk faded as he doesn't like mehandi.

"Wow, beta."

"Since, when were you planning all this, Mr. Mastermind?" I asked Vik.

"Since the doctor checked on you due to your weakness." He said with a smile.

"Wow, yaar. Tu to dost hokr bhi gaddar nikla."

"It's nothing like that. You know it and by the way, were you crying?" He asked being concerned. I diverted my gaze trying to avoid the question.

"Now, It's the turn of our second couple." Mom announced and Priya won in their ceremony.

"Now, the husbands will find their name on their wife's hand." Mom said and both couples sat on their assigned places. I gave my hand to Kabir. He took it.

"Is my name even written on your hand?" He asked.

"Yes, it is. Just find it."

"So, you also knew about their plan."

"I didn't. Vik had written my to be groom's name on my hand." Hearing his name, his hold tightened on my hand.

"Okay, Mrs. Shekhawat." He started finding his name with full concentration.

"Why are you calling me this?"

"Because we are married." He said and continued his work.

"Found it." Two voices echoed in the room. I looked at Kabir and found him smiling looking at his name on my hand. I felt like Is he serious? Yesterday, he was welcoming to his personal hell and now smiling like everything is fine between us. Does he have some split personality disorder. Both the husband had found their name at the same time.

I looked at Kabir. He was not leaving my hand and looking at something with serious expressions. I followed his gaze. He was looking at my engagement ring. He started removing it.

"What are you doing?" I asked him.

"Removing his ring. You are married to me now."

"Look at the ring properly." I said and he examined the ring. A smile made a way on his face when he looked at our names craved on the ring. I felt happy looking at his smile.

He again made me wear the ring and said "Perfect".

"Are you Kabir only?" I asked him.

"Why? What's wrong with me?" He asked back.

"Nothing. You are acting quite different from yesterday."

"Why, sweetheart? Don't you like it. By the way, I've prepared a special gift for you." He said.

I looked at him being suspicious and diverted my gaze. After some time, I went back to my room. I sat down on the couch thinking about something. Kabir came into the room. He looked at me and then, went towards his almirah. He took out a box and gave it to me.

"What's this now?"

"A special gift for my sweet wife!" He said and my suspicion grew.

I looked at the box thinking about something.

"I don't want it." I said giving him the box.

"Open it, Wifey. I've worked hard to prepare it for you." He said with a smirk.

I opened the box and took out the papers. It slipped from my hand when I read it.
