The living room of the Kim mansion was a display of wealth and status.

Minji, Mrs. Kim, sat on a luxurious leather sofa, her posture rigid and eyes blazing with anger. Opposite her, in an equally lavish armchair, sat Mr. Jung, the family lawyer. The tension in the room was palpable.

Minji's fingers drummed impatiently on the armrest.

"This is outrageous, Mr. Jung," she spat, her voice low but filled with venom.

"There has to be something we can do about that will. It's absurd!"

Hoseok adjusted his glasses, his face impassive despite the storm brewing in front of him.

"Mrs. Kim, the will is legally binding. Late Mr.kim ensured it was ironclad. There is nothing I can do to change its terms."

Minji's eyes narrowed dangerously.

"There must be some loophole, something you can exploit. I've spent years trying to get control of this estate, and now you're telling me it's all for nothing?"

Hoseok shook his head slowly, feeling a mix of shock and silent resignation at her revelations.

"The will explicitly states that Taehyung and his children are the sole heirs. Until his children reach the age of eighteen, Taehyung is the custodian. If anything happens to him or his children, the estate is to go to charity."

Minji's face twisted with fury.

"I've done everything to secure this estate. I drugged him, guilt-tripped him about his father's death, and even made... advances. But nothing worked. He's a stubborn fool! A fūcking gay! for heaven's sake! He has no interest in women or this property!"

Hoseok remained silent, absorbing the full extent of Minji's manipulations with growing disgust. His face betrayed no emotion, though inside he was shocked.

Minji's anger only intensified.

"He doesn't care, but I do! I deserve this estate. I've been the one holding everything together, and this is how I'm repaid?"

Hoseok's patience was wearing thin, but he kept his voice steady.

"With all due respect, Mrs. Kim, the will is clear, and it cannot be altered. Taehyung is the rightful custodian, and everything is managed by Min Yoongi, as per his father's wishes."

Minji stood up abruptly, her face contorted with rage.

"Then you're useless to me. Get out!"

Hoseok stood, gathering his briefcase with measured calm. He nodded curtly and left the mansion, feeling a heavy weight lift from his shoulders as he stepped outside.

Hoseok arrived at the office. He made his way to Min Yoongi's roo, his heart pounding slightly faster than usual. Standing before the door, he took a moment to steady himself. He knocked and waited, the deep voice that invited him in sending a familiar shiver down his spine.

Yoongi looked up from his desk as Hoseok entered, his expression curious but welcoming.

"Hoseok, what brings you here?"

Hoseok closed the door behind him and took a seat, his mind still reeling from Minji's confessions. Yet he couldn't help but notice the way Yoongi's eyes softened slightly, a subtle but comforting presence.

"We need to talk about Mrs. Kim," Hoseok began, his voice tinged with urgency and an underlying worry.

Yoongi's eyes darkened slightly.
