"Oppa...you need to come with me.."

Nari's voice quivered even with the evident smile on her face. This felt more like a plea or request with the desperation in her voice.

"Riri... everything's fine right?", Jungkook probed seeing the faltered expression on Nari's face.

"Yeah..yeah.. actually even better now..!"

Nari then turned towards Yoongi. "Thank you so much Mr. Min..I don't know how to express my gratitude..I don't think it's going to be enough ever..."

Yoongi moved his hands as a gesture that it was really nothing and Nari didn't have to thank him at all. But before he could say anything Jungkook spoke out.

"How do you know Yoongi hyung, Riri?", His protective brother mode was on, not that he didn't trust Yoongi hyung enough or something. Taehyung trusted him so naturally Jungkook had reason to not trust Yoongi.

"Well Mr. Min is the boss of the office I work at", She shrugged.

"You started working?", Jungkook was surprised to find her sister working. He did everything so that his sister could focus on education only but that was not the case right now. Jungkook somewhere felt guilty and Nari could feel it.

"Hey! It's something I truly enjoy! Remember when I used to participate in those writing competitions in school? I got admission in an online university for that course and landed on a job too! Aren't you proud of me, oppa?", she quickly added so that Jungkook wouldn't feel bad anymore.

Jungkook smiled clearly knowing the intention of his little sister. "How can I not be proud of my little Riri hmmm?"

Nari giggled. "By the way how do you know Mr. Min?"

"Yoongi hyung is actually Taehyung's-", That's when it clicked Jungkook. Nari probably didn't know who Taehyung was. So he turned to Taehyung. "This is Mr. Kim Taehyung."

"Hello", Taehyung waved his hand. "I've heard a lot about you from Jungkook"

Nari smiled at him. She also noticed the fondness in his eyes while talking about her brother. She was a smart girl. Hence she understood there must be something going on between her dear brother and this handsome man.

"He's a teacher at the school I used to work at....", Jungkook trailed.

"Ah Nice to meet you Mr. teacher", Nari forwarded her hand for a handshake. As a habit, Taehyung fixed his glasses on his nose bridge and shook her hand. Taehyung was indeed handsome but for Nari, it was more like 'so you're the brother-in-law huh' not 'gonna make you my hus-'

Ok. Too much. But who would make Yoongi understand that? He was just standing there, feeling jealous about it. Insecure? Nope. There was no chance of being insecure because Nari wasn't even his in the first place. Oh my god!! What was he thinking!?!

Thank God Jungkook decided to speak, diverting the attention. "He was kind enough to let me stay with him.."

"Ah that was nothing really.. Jungkook had been a great house mate actually", Taehyung quickly added with a nervous laughter.

"Um hm I see", Nari masked her smirk with a gentle smile.

"I'm gonna get some snacks", Yoongi finally decided to speak and started working towards the kitchen.

"Wait hyung! I'm coming too", Taehyung soon followed him.

Now only the Jeon siblings were left in the living room.

"It's been so long.. isn't it?", Nari started.

"More than 2 years...I still remember we couldn't even stay apart for a day..but look at us now...", Jungkook sighed before continuing, "I thought of running away so many times..but.. the thought of ruining other innocent lives always haunted me...maybe I was wrong to endure but I was trying to find other ways believe me.."
