"Kal the miley, phir kyun lage aise
Tumse miley. arsaa hua jaise
Ab tu bataa. jo ho pataa.
Tere bina lamha lamha jiyenge kaise?

Teri baahon ka ghera
Badaa mehfooz lage hai
Badi bekhauf jagah hai ye. oo oo.
Inme hi rehna chaahein, teri panaahein
Jab tak hai jeena chahenge, oo oo.

Tere hoke rahenge, oo o0.
Dil zid pe adaa hai, oo oo.

A sleek, grey Thar rolled to a stop in front of the grand Anand Mansion, its polished exterior catching the glow of the evening light. As the engine quieted, the driver's door opened, and Manav stepped out. Tall and composed, he straightened his jacket,He was dressed in an elegant kurta-pajama set, the rich fabric adorned with subtle embroidery that shimmered in the soft light.Walking around the vehicle, he opened the passenger door,

"Am I your girlfriend ?" Verdant asked, raising an eyebrow, a hint of amusement dancing in his eyes. Manav, momentarily caught off guard, quickly responded, "No, sir," his surprise evident.

"Then why the princess treatment?" Verdant teased as he stepped out of the Thar and handed a small, golden-wrapped box to Manav.

Manav rolled his eyes at Verdant's antics. Opening the door for his boss was part of his duty, hardly warranting the "princess treatment" label. Verdant could be such a dramatic ass, he thought with a mix of exasperation and fondness.

Both of them made their way inside the mansion, but Manav's eyes caught something unexpected. He blinked twice to make sure he wasn't seeing things. When he was certain, he leaned in and whispered, knowing Verdant might not believe him due to his past pranks.

"Sir, lauki wali miss is-" Verdant cut him off immediately.

"Not again, Pandey. You've already joked twice about this. I'm not falling for it this time." Manav expected this reaction but knew he was telling the truth.

"Soch lijiye, sir, kismat ne milaya hai, dubara nahi milegi aapko. Just see on your right and you'll believe me," Manav said confidently, trying to convince him. He then walked inside the mansion, leaving Vedant in a dilemma.

Verdant tried his best to ignore the thought, but his heart refused to let it go. He took a few steps forward, then hesitated, finally turning to glance to his right. There she was. A smile involuntarily crept onto his face, a smile that had lingered since the day he witnessed her encounter with the thief. He had been infatuated with her ever since.

He couldn't believe it- the same pink saree with small golden circles she had worn that day. Verdant moved towards her, needing to confirm he wasn't dreaming and that she was indeed the one he had seen.
