The night was thick with tension, the air heavy with an ominous silence that seemed to foretell the chaos to come. In a secluded manor, hidden deep within the English countryside, a peaceful scene was unfolding. The flickering candlelight cast warm shadows on the walls as two figures stood over a crib, their faces filled with love and hope.

A woman with wild yet gentle eyes cradled her newborn daughter in her arms. Her gaze, usually fierce and protective, softened as she looked down at the infant. Beside her stood a tall, imposing figure with features twisted into an expression of rare tenderness. This child was their legacy—a symbol of their love and hope for a better future.

But outside the manor, another figure moved with quiet determination. Cloaked in invisibility and accompanied by a handful of loyal followers, he knew that time was of the essence. Driven by his dark ambitions, he believed that this child held a power that could be manipulated for his ends.

With a swift incantation, the intruders breached the manor's defenses. Chaos erupted as spells flew through the air, illuminating the night with bursts of light and sound. The woman's scream pierced the darkness as she clutched her daughter tighter, but it was too late.

The leader of the intruders reached them first. With a wave of his wand, he disarmed the woman and roughly took the infant from her grasp. The tall figure's roar of fury echoed through the halls as he lunged forward to protect his family, but they had already activated a Portkey.

In an instant, they were gone—transported to an ancient castle known for its towering spires and hidden secrets. There, under watchful eyes filled with cold calculation, the child would be hidden away from those who truly loved her.

As he placed the sleeping infant in a carefully prepared crib within his office, the leader made a silent vow—not to protect her, but to mold her into something that served his purposes. He would give her a new identity—a life shrouded in lies.

And so Mari Potter was born—a child destined to walk between shadows and light, unaware of the storm that awaited her in the years to come.
