THE DEVIL'S DOWNFALL

Chapter Five; DOES THE DEVIL HAVE A SOUL

The little masterpieces Lucifer found back at his kingdom had him salivating. Ammon could not stop  rambling about a demon back on Earth on a rampage. The new soul in Hell, the very same one that brought his boss back  home shook Ammon to his bones. He was busting with relief to see Lucifer as he couldn't take it anymore, one more and he'd lose it.

Uncaring to Ammon's concerns, Lucifer was over the moon. For the first time since his fall he found joy, purpose and most importantly love. He had already concluded to make the   beautiful girl his queen.  He could already see the successful union, he found the feminine part of him. He finally knew what love at first time means, he found his soulmate.

He needed to call a meeting with the ten leaders of Hell. To announce he finally found one worth to rule by his side. He was fully aware that the little fireball will not willingly just follow him to Hell hence a plan was needed. He also wanted the place prepped enough to her liking, he wanted his dark,dull and utterly lifeless castle sparkling with color. He wanted perfection as she was...perfect.

Among the ten, nine ruled the Circles of Hell. Each circle held different souls, the circle at which one ended in fully depended on their nature of sin. Each circle also had different rules and forms of punishment. The leaders  of these circles were powerful demons, they are the Fallen but their interactions with demons changed them entirely.

The First Circle was Limbo and Asmodias was it's leader. This was for the souls of the unbaptized and the virtuous pagans. They were not punished but are denied entry into Heaven.

The Second Circle was Lust governed by Satanas. It was reserved to those who committed the sin of lust. They were punished by being blown by a constant storm representing the restless nature of their desires.

The Third Circle was Gluttony  led by Belzebub. Reserved for those with unquenchable desire for more. They were punished by being forced to lie in a vile slush produced by an eternal cold and heavy rain. All their belongings taken away over and over for eternity.

The Fourth Circle was Greed whose leader was Behemoth. It was the most popular circle as greed was the world's favorite sin. They are punished by being forced to push giant boulders in a circle. The boulders represent their obsessive desire for material possession.

The Fifth Circle was Anger led by a famous Fallen Rosaline. This circle is for those who committed the sin of wrath. They are punished by being submerged in the river sticks and constantly fighting and attacking each other in the murky water.

The Sixth Circle was Heresy governed by another famous Fallen Mary Margalita the virgin. Reserved for those with the sin of heresy. They were punished by being trapped inside flaming tombs representing their rejection of the Devine.

The Seventh Circle was Violence ruled by Baalam. This had three divisions according to whom was victimized; to self, others and God. To self were locked in a room filled with mirrors haunted by their own insecurities. To others they were constantly facing canon balls on fire. To God they were on an ending ran from a flaming sword.

The Eighth Circle was the innermost circle of all. This was the most famous among Earth dwellers as it's mentioned in the Bible. This was a large fire pit with sulfuric fire that scaled and burned mercilessly with an unquenchable hunger but didn't consume meaning all it's victims had to endure it for all eternity. This was for those who committed all of the above sins.

All the leaders were in the throne room. They were awaiting the worst news as that was the only thing common in every summon. The tension in the room was thick as they could not stand on another's presence. They looked at their leader and immediately confusion filled their minds and fear gripped their hearts. A smilling devil is a scary image to behold.

All these changed after the news, now everyone stared at Lucifer like had grown a horn. A plan formulated one that brought many emotions to hearts but pity was the dominant one. Poor little girl they all thought. As her life was about to take a dark turn, her dreams crushed and all taken from her all to appease one Fallen. However,Ammon was close to tears fear and terror all over his face.

Did the Devil really fall for another devil?  He knew right then and there his boss was the lesser evil. Hell was about to get darker.
