As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a cascade of vibrant colors across the sky, Astral and Jaylen meticulously packed up their campsite. The air crackled with the remnants of flickering flames as Astral snuffed out the last embers of the fire with a swift motion. Jaylen, ever curious, turned to Astral with a hint of excitement in his voice, "So what can I expect out of the next Land?"

"Snow," came Astral's curt reply, his tone as unyielding as the frost that would soon blanket their journey.

"Snow? That's it?" Jaylen shot back incredulously, his fingers deftly tying the tent onto the sturdy horse's back. "Like nothing else?"

"Snow," Astral repeated, a hint of a smirk playing on his lips, as he gathered their gear with practiced ease.

"Ooo kayyy," Jaylen huffed, exasperation creeping into his voice. He grabbed the reins of the horse, readying himself for the next leg of their adventure. "Alright, I'm packed up." With a nod of approval, Astral took the lead, guiding the horses down the winding path that would take them to the markets.

"We should stop by the shops before we leave." Jaylen's shoulders slumped slightly as he confessed, "I uh—don't have gold..."

"I got it," Astral replied nonchalantly, turning back to reveal a small, weathered bag that jingled softly with every movement.

"What—Are you rich or something?" Jaylen's eyes widened in disbelief, taking in the sight of the shimmering bag.

"You could say that," Astral said, shrugging with an enigmatic grin.

"WHAT?" Jaylen exclaimed, quickening his pace to keep up, his mind racing with possibilities. "You're rich—"

"Eh," Astral replied with a casual wave, "depends who you ask." With that, he continued down the path, leaving Jaylen in a whirl of astonished thoughts, pondering just how deep the secrets of his friend ran.

the boys emerged from the dense woods, their adventure lingering in the air like the scent of pine. Astral, with an air of purpose, darted towards the bustling market square, where vibrant stalls showcased an array of wares, each one whispering tales of distant lands and enchanted treasures. Jaylen, his curiosity piqued, tethered their weary horses to a weathered post and trailed behind, his eyes wide with wonder as he took in the lively scene. With a swift motion, Astral tossed a small leather pouch in Jaylen's direction.

The bag landed in his hands, and he blinked in confusion. "What—"

"For my bail! Look around, I'll get us some gear!" Astral replied, his voice filled with urgency as he disappeared into the throng of merchants and adventurers.

Jaylen, still processing the sudden exchange, turned the pouch over in his hands, feeling the weight of its contents. He ambled through the market, his gaze flitting between dazzling trinkets and exotic spices. Then, his attention was captured by a modest stall draped in colorful fabrics. A stack of clothes, each piece imbued with a hint of magic and mystery, beckoned to him. Intrigued, Jaylen began sifting through the garments.

his eyes were met by a petite figure behind the counter. Her fiery red hair cascaded like a waterfall of autumn leaves, framing a face lit by a warm, inviting smile that could brighten even the gloomiest of days. "Hello sir, can I get you anything?" she offered cheerfully, her voice a melodious chime that danced through the air like the gentle tinkling of fairy dust.

"Ah—Hello—" Jaylen stammered, momentarily captivated by the sparkle in her emerald eyes. "I'm just looking—"

"Alright, just let me know—" she replied, her smile unwavering as she returned to the artful task of folding enchanted garments, each piece whispering tales of adventure and bravery
