Later that night, Y/n walked outside to the courtyard where Tedros stood waiting for her. He hadn't quite noticed her at first as he walked back and forth. Something appeared to be on his mind.

"Don't think too hard. You might blow a fuse," Y/n said, smirking.

Tedros turned to her and a smile crept onto his face. He walked toward her and stopped a couple of feet from her.

"About time you showed up. I was thinking you were blowing me off," he replied.

"Now why would I do that?"

"Better things to do maybe?" He stated with a hint of worry.

"You asked to meet with me and here I am. Besides, Sophie's cupid is this close to killing me. I need your help." She almost pinched her thumb and pointer finger together to show how little survival skills she had here.

"Let's get started then."

The two of them walked together and soon arrived at the archery range. Tedros picked up two wooden bows and a few arrows and proceeded to stand next to Y/n.

He held out one of the bows in front of Y/n. "Here. Take it," he stated.

She grabbed the bow and watched as Tedros took his own bow in his hands. He picked up one of the arrows and knocked it into place. His muscles tensed as he pulled his arm back, and Y/n watched closely. He tilted his head briefly before releasing the arrow, hitting the target directly in the middle. He turned to her, tilted his head, and smiled.

"Lucky shot," Y/n shrugged.

"Oh really?" Tedros replied with a hint of playfulness in his tone. "Well see about that then."

Confused, Y/n watched as Tedros took another arrow and knocked it into place. He pulled the arrow back as Y/n watched intently. This time, however, he turned and looked at Y/n while his arrow pointed at the target.

"What are you doing?" She questioned.

Without answering, Tedros grinned and continued to stare at her, his eyes burning into her soul as his blue eyes stared into her. Then, he breathed in and released the arrow, keeping eye contact with Y/n.

She continued looking at him for a moment before she finally pulled her face away from his stare to look at the target. She gasped. The arrow hit the target perfectly.

"How?" She asked, amazed.

He shrugged. "Lucky shot, I guess."

She shook her head. "Are you going to continue to show off or are you going to show me how to shoot like that?"

"Right this way my lady." Tedros stood back and allowed Y/n to stand in front of him. She picked up an arrow and knocked it into place just as Tedros had done. Before she could pull back, she felt warmth behind her.

"Here. Like this," Tedros whispered as he lifted her arm up higher and positioned it to aim for the target. She felt his breath on her neck as he helped her pull the arrow back, his chest now completely touching her back.

"L-like this?" She released a shaky breath.

"Yes, princess, like this," he responded calmly.

"I'm not a princess."

"You may be one day."

She tilted her head to the side to look at him to find him already staring. He looked into her eyes for a moment before his eyes flickered to her lips and back to her eyes.

"Tedros..." She shuddered.

"Y/n..." He replied, as he pulled her hand away from the bowstring with his hand and released the arrow.

Y/n turned to the target to see the arrow had in fact hit the target. Not as perfect as Tedros's arrow had, but damn close.

"I have no idea how that hit the target," Y/n questioned.

"You had my help," Tedros replied. "Even though I was distracted."

His eye still burned into her as she looked at him.

Y/n coughed and shook her head as she looked at the ground, her face burning up.

"Maybe... we should take a break for the night," Y/n said, handing her bow to Tedros.

"You sure?" Tedros smiled at her, seeing her face turn crimson.

"Yes, I'm quite tired."

"Tired hm?"

She glared at him and walked toward the school. However, Tedros didn't follow her. He walked back toward the storage chest to put the bows and arrows back. He couldn't help but smile at the fact that he got a rouse out of her. Maybe she felt the same way he did.
