- Haeun's POV: [THE NEXT DAY]

So-Eun comes running up to me in tears.

"Haeun, Lord Jung... He is going away to the capital today. What do I do????", So-Eun says with worry.

'Ji-Un is going away to the capital?! Is this what Hwi planned for his promotion?', I think as I reply to So-Eun.

"You need to go see him before he leaves! Where is he going to be? I will go with you!", I say as I wait for her to reply.

"He is going to be on a boat, I know where it is, will you really come with m:, She asks me.

"Of course I will! Let me just get Ga-On! And then I will be able to, we need to hurry though. When does the boat leave?!", I ask her as she starts to panic.

"In 30 minutes!", She yells while panicking as I look around for Ga-On and spot him.

"Ga-On, we are going outside the Palace today with So-Eun. And... Fast.", I say as I start to drag him with me and So-Eun and we hurriedly run to the boat that Ji-Un is going to board soon.

- TIME SKIP: [AT THE DOCK]

When we get there, I see Ji-Un starting to walk aboard onto the boat.

"Lord Jung!", So-Eun yells as she runs up to Ji-Un while I see him slowly turn around.

"Is it true that you're actually leaving the Capital?", I hear So-Eun ask in disbelief.

"Yes. I'm afraid it's the way it has to be.", Ji-Un replies.

'The way it has to be?', I think in confusion.

"How can you be this indifferent? Even after I confess my love for you, you're still just going to go.", I hear So-Eun reply in tears.

"Lady So-Eun.", Ji-Un replies as I see her grab his hand.

"Please don't leave. My feelings for you have just started to grow. And I only recently realized that. So how can you decide to just leave like this?", So-Eun adds as she looks down, still crying.

"I apologize... for not... realizing how you felt. It was a pleasure. I truly cherished... meeting you.", Ji,Un replies as I see him gently take So-Eun's hands off of his as he spots me.

"Haeun?", Ji-Un says as he walks up to me.

"What are you doing here? Are you here to see me?", He asks as Ga-On steps a little toward Ji-Un.

"Uh-", I start to say as Ga-On interrupts me.

"It's Her Highness. And we are here with Lady So-Eun, so be on your way.", Ga-On replies as my mouth opens wide out of shock while Ji-Un and Ga-On glare at each other.

Luckily So-Eun breaks the tension as she comes up to crying, making Ji-Un go away hurriedly and onto the boat.

"So-Eun, what happened???", I asked as she cries heavily.

"H-He doesn't love me. I-I need to be alone.", So,Eun replies as she runs off while her maid follows her.

"So-Eun!", I say as I start to follow her, but Ga-On grabs my arm, stopping me.
