- Chapter 52: (The Murder Weapon)

- 3RD POV:

Hyun visited Lord Changun's home, where he had to stay on house arrest.

"You're staring, Uncle. A nepwhee visiting his uncle is not all that surprising.", He tells him as he sits in front of him, outside of Lord Changun's house.

"Normally, no. But you are not one to come by without a reason... Let me see, huh? His Highness put you up to this, huh? You were ordered to find out what happened to the girl named Jan-i.", Lord Changun replies, guessing why Hyun is there.

"I'm glad to find out that you are not as dense as you used to be. That being said, why did you kill the maid? Since Lord Sangheon is looking out for you now, there's no harm in telling me.", Hyun says with a smile as Lord Chnagun sips his drink and then pours it out without breaking eye contact.

"Do you really wanna know why I killed that girl?", Lord Changun asks as he motions Hyun to come closer and leans forward, over the table.

"Because I was angry. Rage swept over me. I just couldn't take seeing the Crown Prince and Princess acting all righteously like that about everything. You know? And besides, I never intended to actually kill her. If anything, she is the one to blame for harming a royal relative.", Lord Changun says while laughing and pointing to the 3 scratch marks on his upper cheek.

Lord Changun then starts to eat some food and then suddenly starts to choke and hold his neck.

"Gosh, that's so bitter.", He says, stopping his fake choking act as he snickers.

"Hey! Bring me better food, now!", He yells out to the distance as he spits his food out.

"Oh, eat, huh? Enjoy.", He says to Hyun as Hyun takes sip of drink while Lord Changun chuckles.

Hyun smirks as Lord Changun as Lord Changun looks at him confused.

Meanwhile, Haeun, Hwi, Ga-On, and Bok-dong, are inside of Lord Changun's house. They are looking for the murder weapon, the one Lord Changun used to kill Jan-i.

"No!", Lord Changun says annoyed as he runs inside of his house, but find no one in it.

He then sees one of his cabinets opened and quickly runs to his closet and opens a drawer in the closet. Inside of there, he opens a box, containing the knife that he killed Jan-i with.

Seeing it still there, he sighs in relief.

"Oh, that's a relief.", He says as he starts to close everything back and then turns around.

As he turns around, Hwi holds a sword up to his neck, making him gasp from shock.

"Thank you, for leasing me right to it, Uncle.", Hwi says.

[FLASHBACK: A FEW HOURS EARLIER]

Hwi, Haeun, Hyun, Ga-On, and Bok-Dong were together at Hwi's Chambers.

"We need to find the murder weapon or we won't be able to charge him.", Hwi says.

"How will we find it? He won't even admit to the crime! That bastard!", Haeun replies.

"It's obviously in his house.", Ga-On says.

"Huh? How do you know that?!", Haeun asks as Ga-On rolls his eyes.

"Ga-On is right. He thinks because he is on house arrest, that we won't go to his house, so we just need to distract him and get into his house and find it.

"Uncle is not that dense. He will see right through us.", Hwi replies.

"Wouldn't that be good?", Haeun asks.
