Chapter 5: The Confession

Chisaki and Hikari carried Kaname all the way up to Tsumugu's bedroom which didn't have many things. Hikari said to Chisaki he will visit tomorrow.
Chisaki laid Kaname down on the bed and tucked him in, she stared at his face and her face started to turn red. "What are you doing Chisaki! You shouldn't be staring at Kaname that's creepy!" said Chisaki to herself.

Chisakis POV
Thank goodness we found Kaname, I was so worried that I wanted to keep sleeping until Kaname wakes up, I hope Kaname wakes up soon, there are so many things I want to tell him.
End of Chisakis POV

At the Shiotome house hold (Miuna's family's last name) Hikari ran inside yelling that they have found Kaname. "You have found Kaname!" said Miuna. "Ya, but unfortunately he is sleeping right now and is staying at Tsumugu's grandpas house" said Hikari. "That's great that all of you friends are here on the surface" said Akari.

Hikari and Miuna went to get ready for bed. "Miuna I will sleep on the floor" said Hikari. "It's fine if you sleep on my bed, you have been sleeping in the ocean probably on a hard rock or cold sand while glaciers were above you, I would want you to be comfortable now" said Miuna. "I don't want you to sleep on the floor it will make me feel bad" said Hikari. Akari walked in and told Hikari and Miuna that she has ordered a bunk bed for them to sleep on tonight. Itaru Shiotome (Akaris husband and Miuna's biological father) placed the bunk bed near the window. "Thank you Daddy" said Miuna.

"I get the top bunk!" Miuna says. "Aw no fair!" said Hikari. Miuna and Hikari both get into bed. "Miuna, are you still awake?" says Hikari. "No, not yet" answers Miuna.

Hikari's POV
I've been thinking about what Chisaki said to me about telling Miuna my feelings, I want to tell her but I don't know how to tell her.

End of Hikari's POV

"Hey Hikari do you want to go outside for a bit, I can't sleep" asked Miuna. "Sure why not" said Hikari. Miuna and Hikari went to sit at the dock. They looked up at the sky towards the moon. "Hey Miuna there is something I want to tell you" said Hikari. "What is it Hikari?" Asked Miuna. "I'm falling so hard for you, I don't know if you understand but I'm falling into the ocean so fast, I feel like I'm going to hit the ground and not come up again, but when I'm with you I feel like I'm on top of the world, you make me happy and you're always there for me. I am now certain that I love you Miuna" Hikari said while his face turned a little red.

Miuna was shocked but she was happy, her face was red but the smile on her face made Hikari smile. "I always told myself that if I don't love then I won't get hurt or be sad, but when you love you feel all sorts of things. Hikari I have loved you since I was 9 and never have I forgotten everything that I felt when I was with you. I knew you liked Manaka before and I was hurt but I don't regret loving you Hikari" Miuna said smiling. "I won't hurt you anymore" Hikari said. "I promise to make you smile. I will always be here for you Hikari no matter what!" Said Miuna. Hikari put his arm around Miuna and Miuna put her head on Hikari's shoulder.

The next day Miuna thought that it was all a dream but Hikari kissed her forehead and reminded her that it wasn't a dream. Miuna's face turned red but she was happy. Miuna and Hikari held hands walking to Tsumugu's grandpas house where Chisaki and Kaname were. *Knock Knock* Chisaki opened the door to see Hikari and Miuna, much to her surprise she saw the two of them holding hands. "Aw what a cute couple we have this morning!" Said Chisaki. "Good morning to you too Chisaki! Has Kaname woken up yet?" Said Hikari. "Unfortunately no, Kaname is still sleeping" Chisaki said disappointedly. "Oh okay. Are you ready to go to school?" Asked Hikari. "No not yet I still need to do my hair, Miuna will you come upstairs to help me?" Said Chisaki. "Okay!" said Miuna. "Thanks Miuna! Hikari you can go visit Kaname" said Chisaki. "Okay" said Hikari.

"So Miuna how did Hikari tell you his feelings for you" Chisaki said while smirking. "Well he told me that when he is with me it's like he's on top of the world, it was kinda cheesy but it was a really cute confession" said Miuna. "Aaaawwwww how cuteee" said Chisaki giggling. "The one thing that has been bugging me lately is how to tell my dad and my step mom which is also Hikari's older sister, I don't know what their reaction would be." said Miuna. "Have you talked about this with Hikari yet?" Said Chisaki. "No not yet" said Miuna. "You should have a proper talk with Hikari about this and ask him what he thinks" said Chisaki. "Okay, thank you for the advice Chisaki" said Miuna. "No problem, thank you for helping me with my hair, I hope to be good friends with you Miuna" said Chisaki. Miuna smiled at her and gave her a hug.

Meanwhile Hikari was in Tsumugu's room where Kaname is sleeping in. "Kaname, I hope you wake up soon. We are waiting for you, there is so much things we have to tell you" said Hikari.
Hikari left the room to meet up with Chisaki and Miuna as they started to leave for school.
