Despite not amassing as much land as the other nations, Mondstadt still held a respectable amount of area to cover when it came to searching for someone or something. As promised, Aether and Paimon diligently gave [Name] information while helping him navigate as they explored any possible area the other Nameless might've landed.

They searched high and low, even asking passing villagers if they had seen any strange phenomena like a person falling out of the sky. Given the flashy arrival [Name] had made, they could only assume that the other Nameless similarly dropped into this world.

As a traveler of the cosmos, [Name] has been subjected to many otherworldly views given how planets procure and develop their homeland in many ways. Despite the bad memories he has with it, he admits that the Xianzhou Luofu is a sight to see as well, especially the Scalegorge Waterscape. That's why, he can confidently say that Mondstadt is admittedly a contender for one of the most beautiful places he has visited.

The grass was a lushful green, its sharpened blades a great contrast to the feathery tickles one receives when crossing over them. The flowers were a sight for sore eyes as well, many of them interesting and unique, so much so that [Name] documented each one carefully. He was still an archivist after all.

Their versions of dandelions were interesting as well as the other local specialties only perceived in Mondstadt. Windwheel Asters were probably one of the most fascinating flowers he'd ever seen, followed by the small lampgrass whose core never stops glowing despite nothing powering it. He also found the mints and the sweet flowers interesting but his companions urged him not to dwell too much on them given how they were practically everywhere.

There were lots of things one could do with the more common flowers and Paimon and Aether were all too happy to supply him with knowledge as well, explaining certain origins of specific species and herbs they come across. [Name] listened attentively, storing the knowledge for future uses.

He doesn't know how long his travels in this world, which he has come to find out is named Teyvat, will be. He wasn't sure how long it would take him to find all his comrades, let alone find a way to get out of this place with no sign of the express. Until he can make a clear estimation, he plans to familiarize himself with the layout of the place.

While he wasn't the navigator, that was Himeko's job, he was equally just as expected to have a certain extent of knowledge given how often Caelus and March rely on him. He knew Himeko and Welt would be just fine but if needed, he was very willing to offer what little knowledge he could give them.

The past few days of exploring the nations in search of any signs of his friends gave zero results but that didn't mean it ended up in a fruitless endeavor. Throughout their short travels together, he's come to learn a lot of other things that piqued his curiosity.

Unlike most planets that thoroughly follow Aeons and their paths, even those of the uncultured kind were somewhat informed, this specific planet worshipped Archons. As far as he's learned, they were Teyvat's version of gods.

It was a curious thing that had him thinking. Rather than having an emanator, the people who followed an Archon's will here are called retainers. Additionally, rather than being given a part of the God's powers, they were gifted with visions, one that corresponded to the person's nature accordingly.

Some things were handled differently in this world but that can wait for further sorting out, [Name] already had far too many things to deal with. He should focus on things one at a time, lest he overwhelm himself too much. He's been scolded enough times about taking on more than he needed to by his crewmates.

[Name] couldn't help but let out a disappointed sigh as another day came to an end. Just thinking about things made him miss the presence of his friends, his family. It was overwhelmingly quiet now without the usual chaos that followed him in the form of Caelus and March. The lack of Himeko's light laughter and Welts small but fond sigh deepened the ache he felt. Even Pompom's complaints and the light hum of the express were missed.
