Theresa's POV

"You called dad" I asked my father ignoring Xavier's presence. Not that anyone could, he makes my dad seem like the immature business man and he is my dad's boss.

My point. You can't ignore a presence like that but I could. At least I tried.

"Yes actually. Is your shift over" my dad asks. I nod. "it ended about an hour ago. I was waiting for you" I smiled, he does too but his smile is different. It
looks peaceful almost. I don't know how to explain it. But I shake it out if my head.

"So are you done" I ask grinning from cheek to cheek. "Yes but I've got somewhere I need to be. " HE says getting up. I frown. "Is it important. It's already late" not that he ever comes home on time. "No it's not important" he says taking out his wallet then paying the bill and leaving a 100 dollar tip for me.

I balled my hands into fists beside me trying not to snap at my father. I already had one hell of a day and do I look like his wife that is easily distracted by money.

"I don't want it. We were supposed to go for ice cream" I say sadly handing the money back to him.  He gratefully puts it back in his wallet and taps my shoulder.
"Xavier will take you for ice cream then drop you home" He says and I stop him again. "It's fine. I'll just take a cab home." I tell him smiling. "I wasn't asking Theresa" he roars at me making me flinch slightly. I had never seen him so angry.

I watch him walk out. I sigh. Well, we weren't close in a while to begin with so why am I disappointed.

There was two hundred extra. Since when did he start throwing around money. I don't take it though, instead I'll just put it in the cheeker. All of it.
My eyes finally turned to Xavier who was watching me the whole time. I sigh. This was going to be some night.

I start walking away to the casher then throwing the money in there. "Meet me outside by my car" Xavier says walking out. It's a small cafe. Although he was standing by the door I heard him perfectly. Unfortunately, I heard him.

***Writers POV***

After taking her bag and bidding her fellow coworkers a goodnight, Tess left the little cafe. Xavier was leaning against his black car his eyes roaming her body like always as he watched her approach.

'Typical Horny teenager'Tess thought to herself as she sighed watching his eyes all over her.
Looking at the big black car in front her which looked like a bullet proof car and has tint windows Tess couldn't help but sigh.

Well not that she new much about cars but she knew these were the type of cars parents warned their children to stay away from and never take a ride no matter how much candy offered yet here her father was sending her in that direction. Her very own father.

Xavier seeing as she was just frozen in place looking at the car he thought that was her silent geture to tell him to be a gentleman and open the door for her. He did and she looked at the opened door then him and rolled her eyes dramatically.

"I don't need anyone opening my doors for me" she mumbled getting in the car and closing the door behind her. Xavier smirked thinking how he was gonna change that attitude, sooner or later. He voted for later.  You know give her time to prepare or at least let her father be the one to break it down to her. She was now property of Lamare Mafia.

Xavier goes to the other side of the car and gets in the car instructing his driver to the destined destination which was obviously an ice-cream shop. Tess looked out the window watching as the places passed by. Xavier was watching her with curious eyes wondering why from his three daughters he choice to give her away.

Was she the most troublesome one or was she simply not his child to begin with. Maybe she was just like his own father a shit head who cared nothing for the girl child thinking only the male can be successor. Was he really like one of those men that thought nothing of women. I mean he wouldn't be surprised if he was. The old man if after all a pussy.
