Over the next few days, I moved everything I needed into Luca's penthouse while selling what I didn't need. I also put my apartment up for rent, lately I've been getting calls and messages from Rachel and Scott about trying to get to meet up with mum again. As much as I want to, to understand, I knew that Tristian was right. They never knew what I went through as our mother just brainwashed them into thinking I delivered it all.

"Angel?" Luca asked.

I blinked out of my mind and looked up at him, "I'm sorry what you do say?" I asked.

Luca smiled gently, pressing a kiss to my forehead, "I asked if I could come with you, to the bookstore today?" He asked.

Ever since my nightmare about my past, he hasn't wanted to leave my side and if he couldn't be there. He would send a few around just to keep an eye in the shop and around.

Looking up at him, I didn't realise books were his scene normally he would try and avoid bookshops, I remember when I first told him my plan of owning and running a book shop, he thought I was crazy but helped me fund the shop.

He was shocked to see how well it was doing in the first 6 months, "I mean you'll be bored out of you mind, you can come if you want," I replied.

Luca smirked as he gently pulled me in between his legs, looking up at me, "Never possible," he said before bringing my knuckles to his lips. "Not when you are there to keep me company."

A blush appeared on my cheeks, leaning down I pressed my lips onto his for a small but meaningful morning kiss, I was truly grateful for him. More than he will ever know. As I pulled away, I finished getting ready, while Luca watched.

Once we were finally ready to go, Luca and I got onto the same motorbike, holding onto his waist, I felt the bike jerk as it moved and we were off to my bookstore. The wind blew in my hair, causing me to smile, as I loved riding with Luca. He always made it fun, the way he would take turns or slow was a thrill for me. As he pulled up at my bookstore, he parked in my usual spot.

Grabbing the keys from my bag, I opened the bookstore and turned on all the lights before sorting out everyone's jobs for the day while also getting the new roaster ready for next week. Making sure to check the diary if anyone had any leave off before filling out the roaster, Luca stood behind me, massaging my shoulders. I know I didn't have to be here every day and some weeks I wasn't, but sometimes I prefer the customer relations and just want to chat to others, that isn't Luca or my brother.

The door jingled, I looked up to see Claire, Sonia, Rebecca and Harvey walking in. The 4 said goodmorning before heading to sign in and start their shifts. Just before they left, i handed them their jobs for the day. Sonia was to do inventory count, while Claire to was fill and face, Rebecca was to only serve once I leave for the night and Harvey was to be in the store room and sought out all the new deliveries. While typing away on the computer, I made an order to replenish the books I had and also looked at the emails, responding to them if they were what my bookstore was about. 90% of the emails were the books that my bookstore needed while the 10% weren't.

I wouldn't say I was a picky buisnessowner but my bookstore appeals to certain people, looking behind me, I could see Luca sitting on a chair scrolling through his phone. Busted, I knew he would get bored. As I was about to talk to him my phone buzzed in my pocket.

Grabbing it, I saw the message on my lock screen, a message from one of my other brothers Scott.

Scott: You really need to see mum, she misses you.

Rolling my eyes, I turned to face Luca, showing him my phone. He knows how much my family hurt Tristian and I, especially me. He also knows the trauma my siblings caused me. His jaw clenched as he read the message.
