Rishis POV
I saw her for the first time when she was playing "hide and seek" with the kids of the society
(no she's not 12)
She was just playing with the kids who are 12 year old
I had just moved to Udaipur with my family and felt really lonely so I came to the society park and that's when I saw her.
I was captivated by her beauty so much,I began writing poems for her
Yeah she was that pretty
I mean she still is
I mean she always will be
So that's the first time I saw her and~
"फूल सी खिली आखें, शाम सी हाँसी, यू ही नहीं कहते उसे आफ़रीन।"
Yeah I wrote this after seeing her for the first time
Now she's my best-friend
How?you may ask
Well we go to the same school and I approached her with the excuse of a project
I have no idea if she knows I like her
Wait nooo
I actually love her ii
I've never felt so much for a person ever
I don't know if I'll ever be able to tell her because I love her with all the love I can possibly love a person with.
Back to present!
There she was,
In my arms again after 11 years
never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that I'd meet her here
where it all began
Udaipur
"Reet,what happened!?"her friend(I assume) came running to where we were standing
I took my hands back and let her go
once again...
"Umm I'm okay,I was just about to fall into the lake but this guy saved me"anureet said
this guy that's what she calls me now?huhh
"Thankyou so much!!"her friend said and hit anureet on her head "ye toh hai hi aisi,ulte kaam karti rehti hai"
I smiled at them and walked away
I saw her when she got into the bus with her friend and roll her eyes at the tour guide
She's the same anureet I knew
I tried my best not to be seen so I looked out of the window when she was near me in the bus.
But then when she was about to fall off into the lake
I just couldn't.
I still love her,I think even more than I did before
And my love for her will keep on increasing just like the stars in the night sky,endlessly and infinitely.
it was really hard for me to not go to her and ask her what she's been up to all these years
"So are you finally a fashion designer?"
"Do you still love to dance when it's raining?"
"Do you still get excited when someone asks you about a book you're reading?"and so on...
but I guess it's for the best..after the incident.
