"Are you sure you're okay?"a worried nisarga asked me handing me a bottle of water.
"Yeah..I'm fine"I said opening the cap of bottle
After I just got saved from a near death experience,we went to a café nearby so I could digest what all just took place.
The balustrade giving away,someone saving me,that someone being the houdini heartebreaker aka Rishi,plus missing out on bhelpuri because nisarga dropped it at the sight of me almost falling into the lake.
"Who was that guy anyway?"she asked "seemed like you knew each other"
"I'll explain later"I replied
I'll tell her,just now now,after I get through this incident!

Nisargas POV
"How do you feel now?"I asked anureet as she lay on her bed like a panda
"Better"she replied softly
We just came back to the hotel from todays tour.
"I'm gonna sleep,good night nishuu"she said as she pulled over the blanket to her face
Fear climbed down my spine when I saw anureet almost fall into the lake,I quickly rushed to over but before I could do anything,a guy saved her.
I felt relieved like never before,what would I have done without her?I can't imagine my life without her,she always knows how to bring a smile on my face,knows me like the back of her hand and I just love and adore her to death.
Anyways the interaction that they had after the guy saved her was very suspicious,it seemed like they knew each other but she's not ready to tell me
So I do the only sensible thing that comes to my mind
I sneakily go out of the room making sure to make no noise and knock on room 108
Yes it was that guys room.
I saw him entering the room when me and anureet came back.
"Umm hello?"he opened the door and looked at me in confusion
"Ohhumm yeah hello,well today you saved my friend from falling into the lake"
"oh yeah"he answered
"Yeah I just wanted to thank you,and I saw you entering your room when you entered,so just came to thankyou"
"Umhm"he replied lost in his thoughts
"so thankyou!"I said and he came back
He just smiled and was about to close the door when I slipped in my hand
"Umm anything else?"
"yes do you know each other?"I asked
"Yuppp"he replied
"what happened then?"I asked
"Long story"he answered
"I have time"
"let's take a walk then?"he asked
"okay sure"
"I saw her for the first time when she was playing hide and seek with little kids" he began
"I still remember that I had just moved to Udaipur from Mumbai because of my mother and I fell in love with her but I didn't know what love was,later I figured out we went to the same school and that we were classmates,somehow we became best friends and I even confessed to her on our farewell but then the incident took place.."
"what incident?"I ask
he tells about that horrible incident that turned a daydream into a nightmare....
"You still love her?"I asked
"I always will"he answered
"well then you're invited to my wedding!"i said
"Huh?"he asked
"I'm getting married!"i said showing him my ring
"woh sab thik hai,what will I do there?"he asked
"areyy,work your magic and win her back!"i said
"as if it is that easy" he said rolling his eyes
"लहरों से डर कर नौका पार नहीं होती,
कोशिश करने वालों की कभी हार नहीं होती"I said folding my hands
"Haha okay,I'm in!"
