The newsies movie is originally set in 1899 but so it ties in with Captain America the start will be set in 1932 and follow the newsies movie. Then after the newsies part we will go into Captain America: The first Avenger (1940's). Then after that we will follow the story line of marvel.
Jack will be Steve's older brother, but they don't know they're each other brothers. Steve will be Les but won't actually be related to bucky. But he will be around 16 so he fits in a bit better with the story. Bucky will be Davey. He will be the same age as Jack. Steve will live with Bucky and his family "Davey's family".
Steve and Jack's parents will be dead but Jack thinks they're finding a place to stay in Santa Fe like the newsies story line says. In reality they never made it to Santa Fe because they got pregnant with Steve and had to stay in Brooklyn. Steve moves to Manhattan after to live with Bucky.
Although the original movie is a musical the book won't be because tbh I think book musicals are kinda weird. So anytime they would be singing I'm just gonna make it so they're chanting or something like that so it's not a book musical.
Wanda will have already been an avenger before CAATWS.
Lastly ik that teddy Roosevelt dies in 1919 but for the book he's not going to.
There will be one or a couple chapters in-between movies just to transition into the next movie plot a bit better.
I hope this makes sense but if it doesn't right now it prob will when we get into the actual story.
