Chapter 7

Angelina's POV

Diana, may I know what is going on here?" Ella asked and her voice dipped of danger.

"Hey, Gabby. I was just introducing the newbie to our school." Diana said with a wicked smile.

"Leave her out of this. I am perfectly capable of showing her the school myself. Step anywhere close to her, I will not be so kind." Ella said with fake calmness.

"Who is she even?" Amara rudely. All the kindness evaporated from her face.

"My little sister. I am not telling you cause its any of your business but because if anyone dares to mess with her they will have to deal with the Vitiellos." She said pulling my hand and walking out of the canteen

"Can i ask about what that Was?" I asked

"Not really." Ella answered

We walked to a room and the Theo and Graham were there.

"Yo, twin. Why do you look so pissed?" Graham joked.

"I caught this is one being bullied. So ask her." Ella said releasing my hand.

I felt bad about her talking about me like I wasn't present.

"Rude. And how was I supposed to know who is who is this place." I argued.

"Don't argue with me when your ass is wrong." She said back.

"Well, your ass should've told me about fake snakes in this school." I said

"Getting tough, I see." Ella laughed sarcastically.

"Guys, let's not fight. Just tell us what going on calmly." Theo said interrupting the staring contest between me and Ella.

"She was in the process of getting all drenched. Diana wanted to pour water on her head and she was standing there like an idiot." Ella yelled and memories about my foster parents rushed into my brain.

I visibly shook and took a step back, tears looking in my eyes.

"Angel, are you okay?" Graham asked pulling me towards him.

I nodded pushing my fears to the back of my mind.

"Let's just go home. It's been a stressful day so let's cut it short. Everyone pick your things and meet me at the car in 10 minutes." Graham said pushing me towards the door.

"Fuck it. Let's leave." Theo smiled but something in his eyes looked sad.

I walked to my locker and carried my bag and left the empty hallway.

The driveway was packed with students looking at me with pure disdain.

'What did I do?' I thought as I speed walked to where Theo stood.

"Ready, princess?" He asked with a smile. I nodded and got into the car.

Ella and Graham came a moment later. They looked like they had just had an argument. But I couldn't force myself to engage.

Ella drove us home in silence. Upon reaching home we all went into our respectful room.

I took a short nap to calm myself down. I was so mad at Ella. She was so nice to me for the past days and now she was being a bitch for no reason.

Knock Knock

The door was knocked pulling me from the sleep. A maid peeked her head into my room telling me that it was time for dinner.

I got dressed and walked to the dining room.

"Good evening." I greeted politely. Everyone was at the table, Matteo, Leo, Graham and Theo greeted back with wide smiles. Ales just nodded and Ella perfectly ignored me.

Why was she being so difficult?

"Ella Angel, is everything alright?" Ales asked

"Atleast on my side its fine." I answered with A side-eye. I am nothing if not petty sue me.

"I am cool too coz unlike some of us I don't get angry at someone when they try to help." Ella said rudely. The boys were looking both of us like we grew extra heads.

"What did you do, Ella ?" Matteo asked harshly

"Why do you always assume it's my fault? But again who am i even speaking to?" Ella asked

"We sign your allowances, Ella. Speak with caution." Matteo spoke

"Are you threatening me, Matty? Let me inform you that I couldn't be force to care." Ella stood up.

"Enough, sit down. Eat your food." Ales said with authority that made everyone obey without a word.

"I am sorry." I said softly to Ella who was sitting opposite me.

"I am sorry too." She said with a smile.

"Atleast that's solved." Leo spoke for the first time since the arguments began.

We continued eating and Theo kept looking at his watch.

"Are you okay?" I whispered.

"Ah! Yes I am absolutely amazing." He answered cheekily.

I noticed he often covered his emotions behind a silly smile but today isn't the day to ask about that.

Graham and Ella were whispering while the latter threw annoyed looks at him.

Ales stood up and cleared his throat.

"Angel Graham, I need the two of you to finish your foods without any buts or ifs. Ella, you are grounded for a week for speaking rudely to your older brother." Ales said

"Huh! What about him?" Ella asked annoyed.

"Do you want to make it two?" Ales asked with a tone that made my heart skip a beat but Ella looked unfazed.

"No sir. But why am I getting punished alone?" Ella asked in an assertive manner

"I am older than your argumentative self." Matteo said smiling evily.

Ales rises his perfect eyebrow at Matteo and Matteo immediately apologised.

Graham ate as fast as he could, took Ella hand and left the room. Ales looks angry and also left the room after a quick good night to me and theo

Theo sighed in defeat.

"You clearly enjoyed that, didn't You?" Leo told Matteo with a condescending look and Matteo simply shrugged.

Leo shook his head and motioned at Theo to stand.

"Let's go. Good night, angel." Leo said

We were only two on the table now.

"Is Ella troubling you in school?" Matteo asked softly.

"Why is that your first thought?" I asked confused

"She is a trouble maker and usually can't adjust to changes." He said as if it's a matter of fact.

"She actually helped me in school. She is really nice to me and it's normal to have disagreement. Kindly dont repeat what you said to me to her. She won't feel good about that." I said and quickly finished my food and left.

I understand that he is trying to be a good brother to me but if he can't be nice to Ella then who can guarantee that he would be nice to me in the future.
