Alesandro's POV
"May I know why you are here?" I asked the man who barged into my office without an appointment
"That is no way to treat your cousin, Ales. Anyways Grammy called me last night telling me about you guys." My not so mature cousin, Damon, said
"Well Ella is getting out of hand, Matteo wants to criticise her every second, Angel is trying hard to adjust with them, Theo is keeping secrets from us, Graham goes to school to admire a girl and Leo is just there." I told him the current situation in the house.
"I expect that from Leo. Was grounding Ella really important?" He said
"Why do you ask?" From what I was told she isn't wrong then why are punishing her.
"Because she threatened Matteo's authority yesterday and attempted to leave the dining table out of anger, tomorrow she will leave the mansion over another argument." I said quietly
"My dear brother, Ella cant live without you. She is so dependent on you that it raised worry. She is 16 rebelling isn't a new thing in her age." Damon explained.
"I know that but I got a call from that Motherfucker again. This time he was threatening the girls." I told him
"Well then we have a problem." He said seriously
"Leave all that. How is your mom?" I asked him
"Oh! I should tell her to be honoured as her oldest nephew remembered about her." He laughed
"Oh! Shut up. Answer my question or leave my office." I warned.
"You will never value me. Mom is fine a bit bummed out because you don't want her to meet Angel." Damon said.
"It's not that I don't want aunt Emma to see her it's just Angel isn't comfortable enough to meet more people but don't worry i will I introduce you tonight." I said
"Fine I will take whatever you give me." He laughed.
Damon is my best friend. His mother, aunt Emma, was my mother's sister. Aunt Emma really helped us after Mom and Dad's deaths.

Damon and I walked to the dining room and the atmosphere felt so similar to the breakfast this morning.
"Hello, you amazing people." Damon greeted happily.
Everyone stood up and hugged him except Angel who stood at the table not aware of his relation
"Ella, I heard you were handing out the silent treatment." Damon asked politely
"Not for you. Atleast you don't find my presence annoying." Ella answered with a weak smile.
"Ella, you know that there is nothing like that." Theo said
"Lets not argue before I get more punishment. Damon, please have a seat." Ella said.
"Ok! I should introduce myself." Damon walked towards Angel.
"Hey, I am your oldest cousin, Damon King." Damon greeted
"Hey, I am Angelina." Angel smiled politely
"Ofcourse I know your name. If they ever give you trouble you should call me. I wouldnt do much about Ales but I could torture the rest." He whispered more like yelled as the entire room heard it.
"Cool now everyone have a seat." I announced.
"Ella, your teacher called me and said you didn't attend her class today, why?" I asked.
"I had a emergency." She answered curtly.
"And may we ask what was it?" Matteo asked.
"No, it's nothing you need to sign on." Ella said clearly implying on Matteo's words last night.
Matteo was wrong to say that but I understand that he was just looking out for Angel
"Was it serious?" I asked before another argument starts.
"Yes." She answered.
Angel looked at both of us and shook her head. I knew she was thinking that I was going to punish Ella again.
Honestly I should punish her.
"Ella, what was the problem? Can i help?" Damon asked noticing Ella not wanting to give us an answer.
"It was a simple stomachache, the nurse gave me some pills so I will be fine." She said with a charming smile that I didn't receive the whole day.
Ella normally texts me about random events through out her day. Today I didn't get even a good morning text. She refused to acknowledge Leo's greeting in the morning and just sat at her chair quietly.
"Everyone forks down." I ordered and lucky for them they all obeyed immediately.
"Ella, give me a reason why you have ignored everyone in this family?" I asked sternly without raising my voice.
"I was accused of troubling Angelina, I was warned to obey every word you all say not because they are right but because you sign my allowance, I was told that I was wrong for helping so forgive me for being the pretty doll you all so badly wanted me to be." She said with a straight face and without skipping a beat.
"Before you deny the first thing I said. I heard Matteo clearly tell Angelina that." Ella said in conclusion.
"That's not what happened? You really misunderstood." Angel spoke trying to make Ella believe her.
"Nah! Angelina. I get your point of view and before you think I heard half of the converstation. I actually heard it fully and I appreciate you trying to defend me but you have only known me for like a week. So considering that someone I have spent my whole life with thinks I am a problem child then maybe I should take myself out of the equation." Ella spoke with tears shinning in her eyes.
"On that note, Dame, aunt Emma said I could go stay with her for sometime. This week has a holiday So we could leave tomorrow and I will stay with you till Monday." Ella announced then stood up and left the dining room.
"Matteo, put your wallet and car keys on the table." I said leaving no rooms for arguments.
"Everyone pick up your forks and continue eating." I said
"But Ales, what about Ella?" Graham asked
"Maria will take her food upstairs." I said motioning for Maria to take Ella's plate.
