-3rd person POV-

The airport buzzed with nervous energy. Jina and Yumi stood side-by-side, trying to smile despite the tightness in their throats. Today was the day Jungwon and Sunoo flew back to Korea. Weeks had flown by in a blur of cobblestone streets, cozy cafes, and stolen moments between Jina and Jungwon. But even the most amazing adventures have to end.

Sunoo bounced on his toes, chattering excitedly about the souvenirs he was taking home. Jungwon, on the other hand, was quiet. He stared at Jina, his eyes reflecting the bittersweetness of the moment. Their playful banter had been replaced by a deeper understanding, a silent acknowledgment of the distance about to stretch between them.

The dreaded announcement finally echoed – their flight was boarding. Yumi hugged Sunoo tight, showering him with well wishes. Then it was Jungwon's turn. He hugged Yumi quickly, his eyes searching for Jina.

They stood facing each other, a million unspoken words hanging in the air. Jina reached up, her hand brushing his cheek. "Don't forget about me," she whispered, her voice trembling slightly.

Jungwon's heart ached. He cupped her face, his thumb wiping away a tear that escaped her eye. "How could I?" he murmured, his voice thick with emotion. He leaned in, their lips meeting in a soft kiss, a silent promise whispered against her skin.

Another boarding announcement boomed, more urgent this time. Jungwon pulled away with a final, longing glance. Then, with a heavy heart, he followed Sunoo towards the gate.

Jina watched them go, a lump forming in her throat. It wasn't goodbye, not really. It was just a pause. The city, with its stolen moments and whispered secrets, had woven a connection between them, a bond stronger than miles.

As Jungwon disappeared through the gate, Jina pulled out her phone. A simple text formed on the screen: "Safe travels." With a single yellow heart emoji, she hit send. It wasn't much, but it carried a world of meaning – a promise to stay connected, to keep the spark alive. Their love story, born under the midnight sun, would continue, one message, one call, one stolen moment at a time. The adventure wasn't over, just a new chapter waiting to be written.

Months flew by like whispers on the wind. Jina and Jungwon kept in touch, sending silly texts and sharing dreams. It wasn't the same, but it kept a spark alive between them. Then, finally, the news they'd been waiting for! ENHYPEN was having a comeback, and guess what? They were touring Japan!

Jina bounced in her seat, a nervous excitement bubbling inside her. Tonight, she wouldn't just be a fan; she'd be cheering Jungwon on under the same bright lights that had witnessed their secret moments in her country. The concert was a whirlwind of music and cheers. Jina sang along, her heart swelling with pride as Jungwon danced across the stage, his moves sharper than ever.

Suddenly, the crowd went quiet. A new song started, slower and sweeter this time. Jungwon stepped forward, the spotlight painting him gold. He scanned the audience, his eyes stopping at Jina for a moment. A familiar warmth filled her as a shy smile spread across his face.

"This next song," he said, his voice soft but strong, "is for someone special." He paused, looking straight at her with a twinkle in his eye. "Someone who filled my heart with sunshine in a city that never sleeps."

The crowd roared, but Jina barely noticed. All she saw was Jungwon, his gaze locked on hers. The song that followed was filled with beautiful melodies and words that seemed to come right from his heart. It was a love song, their love song, sung out loud for everyone to hear. Tears welled up in Jina's eyes as the last note faded. The distance between them no longer mattered. Their love story, whispered under the midnight sun, was now sung for the world, a testament to a connection that burned brighter than any spotlight.
