chapter 1

Han's pov
" I miss you" I murmured caressing hyunjin's picture it is been as almost a year since he passed away...a car accident, I didn't even get the chance to see him before he got buried his parents told me that his body was...was greatly damaged...tears started to fall down my cheeks as I stared at my beautiful boyfriend...the love of my life...my life ended the moment he died...I will never be the same man ever again.

A knock on the door pulled me out of my thoughts.
"Who?"I yelled without bothering to open it.
"Sir, your parents have requested your presence in the meeting room" a voice i recognised to be one of our servants said,To hell with them...our relationship is not the best since they never got along with the fact that hyunjin and I are dating.
"I will be there" I answered getting up...I walked toward the bathroom to wash my face before I made my way to my parents.
As soon as I opened the door both of them looked toward me.

" jisung, take a seat" my mom said mentioning to the chair opposite of them.i didn't say a word before I sat down.
"What is it?" I asked looking between the two.
"We need to talk " my father said.
"Clearly, what else I am doing here?" I replied rolling my eyes.
"Jisung, behave..."
"Get over with this already" I cut my mom off.
"It is time for you to get involved in the company business " my dad said.
"I told you that I am not interested..."
"I am not asking jisung...your boyfriend died months ago...you shut yourself from the outside world completely and we didn't say anything, we gave you time...your friends...your cousin are worried about you..."

"I said I am not going to join your damn company" I yelled hitting the table...they are trying to use the boys against me because they know they are the only people i care about alongside hyunjin.
"You are going to do as we ask..."
"Honey calm down" my mom said shaking her head" jisung...the company...we are going through a hard time...we need your help..."
"I graduated last year and didn't get the chance to get involved with your business...you ran the company for years and couldn't figure it out...what I am supposed to do?" I said cutting her off, I...we graduated a month before hyunjin died...my boyfriend...seungmin...felix and I.

I have know lee Felix my whole life, we were born in the same hospital a day apart we went to the same kindergarten... high school....college...
both graduated with a business administration degree. However, we are not friends sure we have friends in common....but we are enemies...well our families are they never get along they are competitors...hell the Lees are going to be so happy with the news of our bankruptcy.
"You are friends with Lee Felix right " my mom said making me frown.
"The boy who both of you told me to keep my distance from...no we just have friends in common...and I haven't seen him for a while now...what does he have to do with this?" I answered crossing my arms...they never liked the fact that we met from time to time. But I didn't meet the boy for a long time now.

The both shared a look before they glanced back at me" we talked to the Lees...felix has more experience than you in the business world he joined his family before he even graduated " my mom said, well because he loves being a businessman...but I don't...in a matter of fact I don't know what I like...since the moment I came to this life I was told I would have to take over my parents' position in the company...my hyunjin always told me that he could see me as a musician that I had a great talent...but I never thought about doing anything serious in that field...more like I didn't get the chance to even if I wanted that.
"Good for him" I hummed, they always reminded me of that...even though he had friend in common the fact that my parents always compared me to him made me hate the other...he is the perfect son my parents wished to have.

"Jisung...the Lees and us decided to merge our companies " my dad announced making my mouth fall open...I never expected something like that to happen.
"You are giving up on your firm..."
"I said we are going to merge the two firms...you and their son will be CO-CEOS...your mother and I...as well as his parents, we are stepping down from our positions in return...we all agreed on that" my father cut me.
"This does not make any sense, how is this going to work..."
"You are going to marry lee felix ,jisung" my dad said making me freeze, I looked at my parents with wide eyes waiting for them to say that it was just some kind of a joke but none of them said a word.

"You are kidding right?" I asked chuckling.
"This an important matter....this marriage will save us..."
"I don't care about the company and never will, if you want it saved give it to lee he will do that..."
"Do you think if we go bankrupt you could continue living like this, your cars...your money...the houses everything will disappear...your life will end" my father yelled getting up.
"My life ended when hyunjin died" I yelled back." I don't care if the company go bankrupt...I will get a job..."
"This damn idiot...do you have any idea what is waiting for you in the outside world...you are just some spoiled brat who had everything handed to him on a silver plate...people are suffering every day just to secure the lives of their children...just to keep them feed...if you lose everything you won't be able to survive jisung...you are not cut for this han jisung" my dad said.

I clenched my jaw glaring at him" Nothing will change my mind" I said.
"I wouldn't be sure if I were you" my mom said making me frown" I hate doing this but we know that will be the only way to get you to agree" she added pushing a file that was in front of her toward me.
I raised my eyebrow taking the piece of paper going through it " you wouldn't dare" I murmured looking at them with shocked face...I...I have never though they would step this low.
"If we are going down, we will take everyone with us..."
"Their son died" I yelled as tears fell down my cheeks.
They are threatening to take down Hyunjin's family's business down...they own a bakery and the place belongs to us...it is one of the reasons why they never agreed to let me be with hyunjin...apparently he was not fit to be with me because he was not rich.

"If we go bankrupt they will cease our properties...they won't have anywhere to go..."
"I will freaking buy them a place..."
"You don't understand the severity of this situation han jisung...all your assets were frozen...and if we go bankrupt you won't be left with anything...you won't even be able to pay for your own food let alone buy them a place" my dad said, my whole body is shaking with anger at the moment...how could they do this to hyunjin's family? Not just his...hundreds of families will lose their jobs if we go bankrupt.
"This is your chance to get over your boyfriend..."

"Don't you even think about finishing that sentence...until the day my soul leaves my body...I will never be over hyunjin...no matter what" I cut my mom off pointing my finger at her...wait...maybe if I talk with felix he will help me...I mean sure enough he doesn't want to marry me right...he doesn't see me like that...this is messed up.
"I will have to talk with felix first..."
"No, before you do you need to sign this paper" my dad said." It is a contract It is to make sure that you don't trick us...lee already signed it...as soon as you do too you will legally become married" he added.

"Lee did what?" I yelled looking at them with wide eyes...I don't know if I should be shocked or angry at the moment...why the hell would he do something like this? Did his parents threaten him too? They didn't seem like mine...is this even legal to do?
"You have two choices right now jisung...either you sign this paper and marry felix or you leave this room and lose everything...just remember you won't be the only one to do so" my mother said, I clenched my hands hard trying to calm myself...I...hyunjin...what...they left me no other choice...it is like they thought about everything...why would felix do something like this? Damn him.

"There is not really anything to think about jisung" my dad said handing me a pen.
"Just remember that I will always hate you for this...I will never forgive you for ruining my life" I said snatching the pen before I signed the papers and stormed out of the room.
I immediately made my way toward my car leaving the house, hyunjin,I am so sorry...I really am...but I promise no one will have my heart....my body and soul will forever be yours my love...
