training and news

After I dropped leah home last night I went back to Beth and vivs, since I haven't fully moved my stuff yet, and straight to sleep.

But now I'm getting ready to go to training.

I hope it won't be awkward, with leah, when I go into training.

I walk into the changing room just to put my bag down, before I make my way to the canteen.

I walk through the doors and I'm met with Beth, viv and katie sitting at the table closest to the door.

"Hey guys" I say, my Brazilian accent coming through

"Happening" Katie says in her Irish slang

"How are ya" Beth says

"Hey Lucia" viv says

I just smile at all of them before grabbing some food for myself and sat down at a different table from them not wanting to disturb them.

I ate my food and drank some tea I got with my food. As I'm sitting down Beth calls me over to sit with them. As I was about to move over, the canteen doors swing open revealing lia and leah, then my phone rings. My mother.

"2 seconds guys" I say to Beth, viv and katie

I answer the phone.

"ei mãe, você está bem?" (Hey mom, you OK?) I speak in Portuguese

"mãe você está chorando?"(mom are you crying?) I say before walking out the canteen to talk in private

"quando fez? como?"(when did? How?) I say as my eyes begin to brim with tears

"ok, vou contar ao Jonas e pedir alguns dias de folga"(ok I'll tell Jonas and ask for a fee days off) I say trying to stop the tears flowing

I said my goodbyes then hung up the phone. I walked back into the canteen not wanting to speak to anyone. I just want to get training done with.

We walked out onto the pitch, ready for training. But before training I had to speak to Jonas.

I walked over to Jonas how was talking with the assistant coach

"Hey Jonas, could I speak to you after training?"

"Ya there's no problem there" he smiles which I return before walking back out on the pitch.

After training, and barley speaking with anyone, I made my way to Jonas' office.

I knock on the door before walking in

"Hey jonas, er...I knkw its alot to ask for but erm...by any chance would I be able to take a few days off my dads after being in a car accident..." I gulp holding back the tears.

"Oh my god, of course you can Lucia take as long as you want, I'm so sorry about you dad Lucia" he says

"Thanks Jonas" I smile before walking g out of his office.

I make my way to the changing rooms.

As I walk in I notice how most of the girls have already left and when I walked in the room went quiet.
