sleepless

That night after leah went home, after she came into my room, I tried to sleep but couldn't, I was tossing and turning but just couldn't get to sleep.

Soon enough I just gave up on trying to fall asleep, so got up and went downstairs and got myself a glass of water. But the thought of going back up to bed put me in a bad mood.

The only thing I wanted to do right now is be with someone. Her.

I know it late, and she has training in the morning, but she did say call me if I needed her, and right now I need her.

After I drank my glass of water, I went back up to my room and grabbed my phone.

I unlocked it and then went to contacts and scrolled until I reached her name.

I clicked on her name then pressed the green button beneath her name.

The sound of the phone dialing, was all I heard until the sound of the call being answered on the other end.

"Hello?" Her tired voice just over a whisper was heard from the other end of the call

"Leah?" I say

"Ya, w-whats up?" She yawned

"Can I erm... come over by any chance?" I gulped

"Er...y-ya sure" she spoke uncertainty

"Thank you, ill be er..about 20 minutes" I said before getting her approval and then hanging up

After I placed my phone on my bed, I went over to my wardrobe and grabbed a pair of grey nike tracksuit pants and pulled them over my Calvin klein underwear, then grabbed a white tank top and threw it on over me before putting on my sliders.

I went downstairs and grabbed my car keys that were in the kitchen, then made my way out to my car, locking the front door behind me.

I sat in the drivers seat of my car and then put my car in gear before pulling out of the drive way. I then made it my business to get to leahs in the time I told her.

I pull up into leahs drive way, just beside her car. But as I was about to get out of my car I began rethinking about my decision on coming here and runging leah in the first place. But there's no going back now.

I stepped out of my car and then made my way to leah door.

I knocked slightly on it, before standing there and waiting for an answer.

After a while I didn't get a reply so I pulled out ny phone and texted leah informing her it was me knocking on her door.

She seen my message and a few seconds later she answers the door, only in her grey dressing gown.

"Sorry I didn't answer I thought you were some weirdo knocking on my door in the middle of the night" she laughs

I just laugh and roll my eyes.

She then steps aside, inviting me inside.

"So what brings you here?" She asks whole leading me into the living room.

"I erm...couldn't sleep..." I say sounding stupid

"Why did you come here out of all places, if you don't mind me asking" she asks

That's the question, why did I come here?

"I dont know, really, I guess your the only person who could calm me down in situations that I can't handle and then you were just my first thought..." I admit slightly

She just nods

"What's on your mind, not letting you sleep?" She questions

"I genuinely don't know to be honest" I say, my Brazilian accent coming through
