the breeze softly encompasses my face as I look around at others like me, but wiser; the trees and the grasses know more than i could ever want to desire.
they've told me that there is an innocence to be found in ignorance-- a peace in the solitude of not completely knowing the world-- to not be friends nor strangers
I'd never want to stretch west
to find resolution in others graces and evils, to coin notoriety as my motivation because
nobody is going to take my soul away
I relish in sunshine and I know: nobody is going to take my soul away
only as I return to my father will my soul be at rest and I will always be young and wild because,
nobody is going to take my soul away.
