There was something more building up for Mia and Charlotte. At the nursery, they spoke more and she'd even go as far as saying Mia was her friend. The amount of laughter they shared together made her heart swell. Charlotte had thought maybe that Mia just had a small crush on her and that's why she was now frequenting the club. She was very wrong.

She was shocked to see that Mia's name was now a permanent part of her nightly schedule. Charlotte knew how much money it cost to hold that spot and to bend the rules of the policy, she then assumed Mia really wanted to get in her pants. She was pleasantly surprised to find Mia sat in the back room waiting for her each night for a small snack and water for her.

At first, Charlotte would give her at least a little something but slowly Mia asked her to stop. As much as she loved Charlotte's body and the way she moved, she cared much more about getting to know her. It felt strange to her. She wasn't one to get attached or make friends much.

They had been seeing each other at the club for a month or two now and Charlotte wouldn't have it any other way. The money she was making was more than enough to cover the bills and she was able to save for her daughters' futures. She adored their time together and many nights, Mia was the only one she'd spend time with after her stage time too.

Well...that's a lie. It went back and forth between Diana and Mia. Charlotte quite liked the attention she was earning from both of them and she was single, so why not play around a little bit? If Mia had gotten on her nerves, she would allow Diana to mark her or be gone in the back room for the rest of the night with her. Mia was not very happy about that.

But there were also nights where Diana and Charlotte would be talking and Mia would notice she had been gone a while. She tried not to think much of it. She knew that Charlotte really liked Diana and possibly even was interested in her romantically. Mia had listened to her go on and on about this "she" and everything that "she" made her feel. Mia always assumed she was talking about Diana... but she was just being oblivious.

Mia could tell she wanted to be more than just Charlotte's friend and that she was really starting to take a liking to her. She couldn't stop thinking about Charlotte's silly smiles, her laughter, and the way her freckles were perfectly dusted across her face. Mia wasn't one to be soft but being around Charlotte brought that side out a lot more. She found herself making better decisions with Charlotte in mind and she had even lost her mean streak with Marjorie. She knew how much Marjorie meant to Char and being rude for no reason wasn't going to set well with her.

In the staff room of the nursery, Charlotte slid in seemingly on Cloud 9. She walked over to Mia and threw her arms around her excitedly. Mia tried to hide her smile and playfully shooed her away.

"Mia! You'll never guess what happened!"

"Oh really? What happened, sweetheart?" Mia chuckled, kissing Charlotte's cheek softly before leaning back and taking in the sweet girl's smile.

"You know Diana from the club?"

"Ugh." Mia groaned,"Unfortunately."

"Hey, be nice!" Charlotte playfully slapped her arm, "Well she asked me to meet her at the club earlier than my shift and she wanted to have a little date with me."

Mia's face dropped when she heard the word "date" come out Charlotte's mouth. She tried to cover it with a cover because she didn't want to ruin Char's excitement. "Oh that's great, Charlotte!"

"I know I'm so excited and can't wait. I didn't even think she liked me like that."

"Everyone likes you like that, sweetheart."

"Oh stop! You don't like me like that so not everyone." Charlotte laughed and somehow missed the frown on Mia's face.

"Yeah... yeah that's true." Mia cleared her throat,"Is there any reason she wants it to be at the club?"
