The sun shined brightly down onto the ground of the pavement floor. People walked along it, waving at each other as they walked by. Children were playing out in the park, their parents talking with one another, everyone laughing. Life was perfect in Lonia, nothing bad happened to the people who resided there, and everyone was content with their lives.

At least, that's what life had been like before the Ranians attacked.
Ranians are robotic beings who are practically indestructible. There had been a legend about them that they invaded the world millions of years ago. However, four individuals were able to defeat them, each wielding a magical weapon of their own. A sword, a rocket launcher, a trowel, and a slingshot. Using the weapons and some strategy, they were able to defeat the Ranians and they ran off into the sky, but before they left, they gave the heroes a warning. A warning that they would return.

The heroes had left their weapons hidden. The whereabouts being unknown. There is one individual who is set on finding these weapons and saving their world from the Ranian takeover.
A character wearing a light blue sleeveless hoodie, She wore a beanie on top of her head, her spiky hair poking out of it a bit. She sat in her bunker, writing down notes from any book she could get her hands on. She made several drawings based on the mythical items, attempting to make a clearer picture of them. She sighed and got up from her desk and just planted herself onto the mattress that sat in the corner of her room.

"Atlas! I found more people that needed a place to stay!" A voice rang out, calling her name. She got up and slowly made her way towards the voice, looking at all the people still getting treated from either wounds or just shock in general.

She met up with her brother, Ronan, who was the one who called out her name. Atlas recited the same thing she told everyone else when they first arrived at the hideout and gave them a tour. There were only around 20 people there, all of them being strangers and none of Atlas' or Ronan's parents. Atlas finished giving the tour and was going to go to her room before being stopped by Ronan.

"Hey, you've been in there for..." He counted on his fingers. "A while now. You need to take a break." He looked at Atlas with a disappointed expression.

"I'll be fine. Don't worry about me." Atlas said, dismissing his statement. She held back a yawn as she was talking to not prove his point.
Ronan huffed at her, then sighed and went to take care of one of the people there. Atlas sighed as well, rubbing her temples.

"Why'd this have to happen, ugh."

Atlas stared at their rations, noticing they were running out. She contemplated whether or not she should go up to get more. She ran up to find Ronan and let him now.

"Hey, we're running low on supplies. I'm gonna head out and see if I can get anything."
"Alright, be careful though."

Atlas made her way to the cellar door and peeked out. She couldn't see anyone out there so she slowly crept out. Around this time, the Ranians would hide indoors, something about being scared their god would come down at night and kill them.

She walked along the sidewalk, finding an abandoned gas station full of fresh stuff somehow. Creeping towards it slowly, she grabbed as much as she could and stuffed it into a duffle bag. As she was closing up, she heard a twig break.

Snapping her head up, she darted her eyes across the environment. "Who's there?!" She yelled out before hearing an unknown chuckle.

She spun around and stared at the thing making the chuckle, a shadowy wolf like creature with hair pointed outwardly. Atlas began to tremble as she slowly took out her sword.

"S-Stand back!" She shouted at it. It stared at her for a minute before taking on a physical form.

"I mean no harm." It said peacefully, still wearing a smile. Atlas stared at it for a moment, backing away slowly.

"Who... are you?" She asked reluctantly. She was met with yet another chuckle.

"I am Zon, I've had my eye on you and your little hideout for a while. I uzed to be an experiment belonging to TANAR, before being cazted out into the real world. I didn't know what he waz doing to the planet, zo I went into hiding in the zhadowz."

Atlas lowered her sword and thought for a moment. How could she know it was telling the truth? Just take its word for it? She didn't want to leave it all alone but... how could she trust it?

She sighed. "Fine. But if you attack us, you're dead."

It chuckled before following Atlas to the bunker.

They started to get into conversation. Atlas started to get more comfortable with it and was really starting to like it. They were almost by the bunker until-

"FREEZE HUMAN" A voice rang out, Atlas reached for her sword immediately as she was greeted by a purple-grayish Ranian.

The Ranian drew their sword and swung it at Atlas, she blocked their sword with her own and pushed it a little to send them back. She charged at them and swung by their head before they had ducked down. A few other Ranians started to arrive, however she could see Zon appearing behind them and snapping their heads off. After a little back and forth, Atlas was able to finally get a clean cut through the Ranian, their body dropping to the ground as black-ish blood came pouring out of them. She grabbed the body and pulled out the gem attached to their chest and put it into the duffle bag.

She stared at her sword, realizing it had gotten a bit dull. She sighed before meeting up with Zon.

"You okay?" She asked helping it up.

"Yup! That waz zo much fun!" It said cheerfully.

"How have you been so cheerful this whole time?"

Zon shrugged and they eventually made their way back to the bunker. Atlas introduced everyone to it, Ronana being a bit suspicious of it.

Atlas made her way to her room and pulled out the gem. She got her notebook and sketched it out. It appeared to be a bright cyan, it took the shape of a rhombus. She finished it up and threw herself onto her mattress. She sighed and closed her eyes, falling into a deep sleep as she thought of her life before the invasion.
