Me and Hyein are currently hanging out at a café near our school and she won't stop gushing about Minji.

"Hyein be honest, do you like Minji?" Seriously, she's been blaberring about her non-stop. Ugh.

"Nah, I see her as an older sister. I was just asking you why you suddenly cared for each other. Is there something I'm missing out on?" She smirked and wiggled her eyebrows.

"Gross! No Hyein. Honestly, I don't know what our minds were thinking." She just hummed and proceeded to bombard me with questions.

"Wait-- I heard you moved in with her??!!! Is that true??" Damn, where did she hear this from? I haven't even told anyone besides my parents.

"How did you even---"

"Oh please, THE Lee Hyein doesn't miss out on every. single. news." She replied and put an emphasis on "the." She really is the gossip girl of our school, including that duck friend of Minji.

"You mean gossip." I rolled my eyes.

"Shut up Kang. Oh and also, are you coming to Kazuha's party tonight?"

"What party?" I have no idea what this girl is talking about.

"Girl, she literally told everyone when the players were practicing the other day. You weren't at the classroom that time. Where were you??"

"You literally just said that we were having our practice." This girl can be so dumb sometimes.

"Oh-- yeah but all of the players were already back when she announced her party, and you weren't with them?" She asked once again.

"No, I took a rest and then proceeded to the shower room." I shook my head.

"Was Minji there too? I remembered she wasn't back in our room that time either." Yep. She was.

Oh please, not the bathroom incident-- I can still remember how fast my heart was pounding when she swung the door open.

"Bathroom incident?" She lowered her head to look at me staring at the floor. What?! How-- did this girl just read my mind??

"Huh?" I simply replied.

"You whined "not the bathroom incident" what happened?" Oh fuck. I didn't even realize I was not saying it in my mind.  I can't tell her about that!! Think Haerin!! Think!!

"Umm I was um-- yeah about the bathroom incident um there was a clogged toilet there and yes. It took the janitor a while to unclog it." I'm fucked. Seriously?! Out of all excuses possible, I used a shit as an excuse. What an amazing excuse.

"Eighty-five percent of what you just said is "um." And clogged toilet? Bitch?? the restroom is separated from the shower room hello?????" She came closer to me and waved her hand to my face.

She backed down and crossed her arms and raised her right eyebrows so high. "You made out with Minji, didn't you hmmmm???"

Excuse me?! No, I did not! She gotta stop jumping into conclusions.

I sighed at defeat since I can't think of any better excuse. Come on Haerin! I know my brain is smart but like-- WHY DOES IT NOT FUNCTION WHEN I GET MYSELF INTO SCENARIOS LIKE THIS?!?!?!

Sigh, so I just told her the truth.

"Fine. I went to the bathroom and then I saw Minji also came there. She burst the door open of where I was about to take a shower to tell me that it wasn't locked because she didn't hear the sound of locking. I was on my sports bra and shorts that time so I freaked out and closed the door behind her, leaving me and her locked inside the cubicle and she stumbled and we almost kissed and--"
