Kang Hana
"GET AWAY FROM HER THIS INSTANCE" A yet so familiar voice echoed in the darkness. I felt relieved that someone was here to save me but due to the exhaustion of wrestling against HAVOC, I couldn't point a finger as to who did the voice belong to.
"Nice to see you again, brother" I whipped my head towards HAVOC as he spoke. DEATH was here!! He could save me. I had given up squirming in my place and even trying to get the supernatural beings hands off my neck in a chokehold.
Even before I could blink or scourge the backyard for DEATH, he appeared right infront of me, postioning himself between his brother and myself. I gasped for air as multiple coughs erupted through my mouth. I could finally breathe. Sucking in a deep breath, I supported myself against the wall.
I tried twisting to free myself but it was a effort in vain. "Why are you doing this?" I had never heard DEATH'S words so cold and ruthless. "To teach you a lesson" The sinister grin on HAVOC' face only grew wider after his reply.
"You should know better than to meddle with the universal actions" his voice dropped down an octave, going deep and it sent shivers down my spine. "You haven't done a single good thing in your whole life and here you are trying to stop me from saving a young life?! That's funny!!"
Confusion grew in me more and more as the sibling conversed. "I see" HAVOC chuckled loudly, "You're trying to make history not repeat itself after loosing your own lover" I could feel DEATH stiffen infront of me.
"You better not talk about her with that filthy mouth of yours" The atmosphere suddenly turned cold. A chilly breeze hitting out of nowhere. "Rose, My dear darling Rose!" HAVOC sang in a soft and honey laced voice.
I watched as DEATH gritted his teeth in anger, his body trembling with nerves. "I TOLD YOU NOT TO TAKE HER NAME FROM THAT FILTHY MOUTH OF YOURS" Before I could even process anything, he had lunged at his brother, eager to beat him down.
Their fight was matched with equal amounts of strength and anger. I couldn't help my eyes to even blink at the scene unfolding right ahead of me. "She has the same face as her, doesn't she?"
My breath hitched in my throat as HAVOC mumbled those last words with amusement lacing his voice. "STOP SPITTING BULLSHIT" A hard punch was scored right at his face by DEATH.
"Stop trying to run away from the truth, brother dear." They split apart, rapid and laboured breathing escaping their lungs. "That boy loves this girl. He loved her from the very beginning and you knew it-"
"STOP" DEATH'S face was red with acrimony. "You couldn't let another story fail just because yours did" HAVOC' speech was only adding to my muddleness. "Kang Hana looks just like your ROSE and believe it or not, their story is just as tragic as yours"
"Don't try to interfere with my actions, HAVOC" DEATH warned the other male. "You're the one who is interfering with the universal actions. You'll get punished again. This time trying to save another person's love story"
Suddenly his eyes trailed towards me, his gaze intimidating and cold. "But I won't let that happen because" he paused, "Either she dies or that lover boy of her's" and with that he disappeared into thin air.
As soon as his presence left the vicinity, I could feel my legs turn into jelly. Trembling and quickering, I fell forward but DEATH brought forth his arms and saved me from meeting the hard ground.
"I-I don't understand anything" The exhaustion was slowly starting to get to me, my eyes dropping as the seconds went by. "I'm sorry, Hana" His eyes were casted down, away from my gaze.
"I'll tell you everything but we need to bring you home"
Blinking open my eyes abruptly, I was suddenly aware of another presence in my room. That's when realisation dawned upon me. I had slipped out of concious and well...DEATH brought me home.
"My head's pounding" I groaned with my eyes shut close. "Weakling" I heard him scoff and that led me to scowl. "Shut up, jerk" The mischievous and cold glint in his eyes were missing. A cast of sorrow and longing replacing them.
"Are y-you a-alright?" I stuttered. "You must have many questions" He completely ignored my concern, standing up and staring out of my window. A chill ran down my spine as I realised he was gazing directly at Soonyoung's room.
"I do" I lowly admitted, aware of his eyes that were glancing at me through the corner of his own eyes. "Let's begin then"
Sitting on the edge of my chair, extremely excited for 'THIS MAN' to release soon😭😭
A wierd yet powerful dynamic coming our way guys🤌🙌
