sorry for not uploading. mental stuff but dont worry im pushin through it. advice to you all, please learn how to confide in yourself. learn to not blow up on strangers about ur life. talk to God, ur mom, a therapist wtv. nvr count on someone or a stranger to understand or listen to you.  like that person told me, nobody gives a fuck. and that's whats wrong with this world. you nvr know what a smile, what a laugh, a hug, or a listening ear could do for someone. but you have people who feel that because they went through stuff, or because everyone does, why should they care. be that shoulder for someone, even if no one does it for you. because at the end of the day, you are good. you are a great person for doing so. and you nvr know whos LIFE ur saving.

Enjoy the chapter.

Percy POV

It hurt me to the core knowing that Y/n felt that way. I should've known, I should've known when she would just leave when Annabeth would come by. Or when she'd say I was the only person she ever opened up to.

And Annabeth loves me?

It was all to much to take in.

I run to find Grover sitting by a tree, toying with his flute.

"Grover! Have you seen Y/n at all today?"

Grover thought for a minute. "No, i haven't seen her since dinner. Why?"

I almost hand him the letter, but respecting her feelings, I just explain the gist of it. "She's leaving camp! For good! Are you sure she didn't say anything to you?"

"N-No," Grover quickly stood. "But she was being pretty sentimental yesterday. I-I should've caught on..."

I pat his shoulder when I saw his bottom lip quiver. "It's not your fault Grover, it's mine. And Y/n has a way of keeping what she really means hidden...Exspecially from me..."

Grover nods, and we make our way to y/c/o/c(your cabin of choice).

"Have any of you seen your sister?" Everyone stood and just looked at me.

"Y/n. The one im sure you haven't seen since last night."

That's when everyone started to all talk at once.

"I believe she said she was leaving or something. We tried to talk her out of it but she seemed so set there was nothing we could do."

"Okay thank you." Grover nodded to them and we were set off again.

~~~
I looked everywhere on camp. I even searched all over the woods and got some creatures to look for her too, but it was true. She was long gone. Next thing you know, Annabeth came and sat beside me.
"Hey, Percy. Everyone's saying you're looking for Y/n."
"It's because I am." I didn't mean to snap at her, but she was the last person I really wanted to see at the moment.
Annabeth rested her hand on top of mine, and I almost jumped out of my skin.
"Maybe...Maybe it's for the best Percy. I get that you and her were kinda close, and she really admired you. But she didn't know how to fit in. Plus, she's strong.  Very strong. She'll survive out there."
"But she doesn't belong out there!" I stood, startling her.
"I'm going to get her. She belongs here like every other half-blood at camp!"
Annabeth stood with me. "Percy y'know we can't just up and leave camp-"
"She's my friend!"
"And I'm not?!" She rubbed her eyes, composing herself.
"You aren't thinking logically. This isn't like those missions. This could be dangerous. A-and-"
"Do you love me, Annabeth? Is that what this is about? Do you really love me?"
Annabeths face went red. She tried to collect her words, but I already knew the answer now.
"So you're jealous of her. That's why you don't feel bad that she's gone. Because you don't want me to be as close with her like I was with you."
She let out a breath. "So what? Yeah, I do. I love you Percy. And you love me. If she left it's because she can't except that she can't have you...."
Her hands rested on my chest, but I backed away. This wasn't the Annabeth I knew.
"Annabeth, I liked you yes. When I was 12. Now, I moved on. You are beautiful, a-and a great friend. But this...Y/n, she's different. I'm gonna find her, even if you're with me, or not. My Annabeth wouldn't abandon someone like this. The old one yes, but the mature you, would never."
Tears pricked her eyes. "So, what are you saying? That you love her now?"
It felt weird, admitting it out loud. But it was true.
"Yeah...I am in love with Y/n. And i'm gonna get her back."
I turned away from Annabeth, running to get my things. And the surprising part was, she didn't stop me.
