The room fell silent as Greta finished reading, the weight of Adelaide's curse hanging heavy in the air. Emma's eyes were wide with shock, her hand covering her mouth. Penn's jaw was set, his fists clenched at his sides.

"Greta," Emma whispered, her voice barely audible. "This means... this means the curse isn't just some old legend. It's real. And it started with your great-great-grandmother."

Greta nodded, her mind racing with the implications of what she had just learned. All these revelations caused a flurry of emotions in Greta. Her mind racing with endless thoughts. The vastness of the mansion suddenly appeared to be getting smaller, causing Greta to close the journal, and darting off, out of the mansion.

Emma and Penn glanced at each other, a look of confusion and concern for their friend, causing them to hastily follow behind – abandoning their mission of finding the hidden chamber.
