You were standing in the sun room you had built into the Nott manor as you bounced your baby softly, you could never get bored of the view no matter how many times you wandered in there.

You let out a soft sigh as you look out one of the many windows, the only sound auditable being the soft sounds of nature outside and the small coo's of the baby in your arms

You were currently waiting for you husband to come back home from his day out with a few of his friends from Hogwarts

You were deep in thought as you feel a pair of arms wrapped around your waist you let out a soft gasp before turning your head slightly to your right and notice your husband with a childish grin on his face

"Oh my gosh Theo, you scared me" you giggled placing your free hand over your chest right above your heart as Theo moves to face you while keeping a hand on your waist

He leaned in closer, nuzzling his nose against yours before capturing your lips in a tender kiss that lingered for just a moment too long

His other hand moved up to cup your cheek, fingers tracing the outline of your jawline as he deepened the kiss even further

When they finally pulled apart, both of them were breathless. "You know I couldn't resist," he murmured with a smirk, brushing a strand of hair away from your face.

"Someone's touchy today" you giggle looking down at the baby in your arms as she looks up at you with a small toothless smile "How did you know I was in here" you mumble looking back up at your husband

Theo let out another chuckle as he looked over at toward the baby before giving you a small shrug "This is where you spent most days when you were pregnant with her" he spoke softly

You let out a little hum as you watch him lean back against the arm of a chair as he looks down at the baby "You know you can hold her" you whispered

You knew he was scared to hold her, he voiced his concerns about holding the baby multiple times before

But you also knew that he was dying to hold onto his little girl

Theo gave you a look filled with confusion but then understood what you meant

He slowly nodded, not tearing his eyes away from yours with measured movements, he reached out carefully, ad he took the baby gently from your arms and held her close enough so that he could run his large thumb along her tiny palm while keeping an eye on every expression that flitted across her angelic features

It was true; fatherhood had been daunting at first, but seeing the love in both of their eyes towards this innocent life they had created together had given him all the courage he needed

He couldn't thank you enough for bringing their daughter into this world, she truly completed them both.

"She looks just like you" you mumbled admiring your baby as she looked up at you with her sweet blue eyes that she inherited from her father

Theo turned his gaze towards you and laughed softly. "She does have my eyes," he admitted, his voice tinged with wonderment

Gripping their daughter more firmly against his chest, he continued to study her face intently, taking in every detail once again before meeting your loving stare once more

Pride swelled within him knowing that these two people who shared such strong emotional connections also shared part of themselves through their beautiful little girl.
