Raeliana

The sun was shining on my face when I woke up from my deep slumber and I sat down on the bed, looking out the window and at the view of the sky. It was a beautiful view. Today was my official day as a servant and I will be working from now on as the prince's servant. Of course I will be working with Alana too but I was informed that I will be working for him personally more.
Suddenly, I hear the same voice that I heard in my dream yesterday. I try to think of something and think it will go away but doesn't. That voice is still there and I hear it perfectly, I want it out of my head. I wonder who that woman could be.

               'Agatha.'

I hear it, that's her name. I think she is speaking to me through my head. I try to avoid her and try to think of something else but her voice grows only stronger. I know you can hear me, child of destruction and chaos.

'Who are you?' I ask her in my mind and I know she will respond to me.

'I am Agatha, the lost queen that was prophesied to rule this kingdom.'
She says. I have never heard of that name before, even at home. It was never once mentioned in the books i have read before but her name, Agatha does sound familiar that i have heard it somewhere. I just don't remember who said it and when.

'Why are you in my head? And what do you want from me?'

'Because I have been waiting for you, Raeliana. You are a powerful witch and sorceress. You are the last survivor of the Emeria kingdom and it is time for you to claim your throne.'

'What? Claim my throne?' What does she mean by me claiming my throne? I cannot do that. I know I have royal blood in my veins and that I am somehow a royal. My family's bloodline is powerful and we were known for our sorcery and magic. We were once close to the gods and goddesses because our house is an ancient house. Our people believed in us, and we believed in them. They worshiped us, loved us and followed us wherever we went. Now, I am its last survivor. My powers haven't even activated yet and I feel hopeless. I feel like I don't deserve my last name because my power hasn't been activated yet.

'You are a princess of the Serenity family and the last survivor of the Emeria kingdom. Claim your throne, Serenity. Don't make me regret wasting my time helping you.' Because my kingdom has no people anymore. I am only its last survivor.

'I cannot do that.' I say in my mind.

'I give you a second chance and when I tell you to do that, you say yes. If you don't listen, hell will come.' She then vanishes and I no longer hear her in my head.
I don't remember that i have met her before. It is odd. It is like she has full control to come into my mind and talk to me. Is she the key to my powers? My powers aren't even activated yet and maybe, i don't have any powers or magic.

Someone knocked on the door and I immediately got up from the bed, straight up standing on the floor. Telling them to come in.

                  'Come in!'

The door opened and Alana was the one who knocked, she came in and had the most prettiest smile ever on her face. It was like she was glowing and I couldn't tell what was going on in her mind but I would eventually ask her.

'You are already awake?' She asks me and I nod. I can't tell her what just happened before she got in here.

                  'I just woke up.'

'Did you sleep well?' Another question but I don't mind. I miss talking. To be able to have a conversation with anyone is rather comforting and I haven't been talking with anyone for over three years so i miss this, to talk.

'I did, the bed is comfortable and I slept without waking up at night.' I say.
I noticed she had some clothes with her, it looked like the clothes she is wearing right now, she is wearing the servant costume for work. 'Is this for me?' I ask her.

'You are correct, my friend.' She says with a smile on her face. Her friend, I could get used to being called her friend and befriending others too but it is hard to be talkative when I have been shut down from the world. I just have to believe in myself to get stronger with this. Alana helped me with putting the costume on me and picked the shoes for me to wear as well.

I begin to feel more comfortable and like having her around me.
I look at myself in the mirror and see my own reflection beside Alana as she is in the reflection too. It is time to work and I have to prove myself that I am worthy for the prince, Lorenzo. I was thinking of him before I dozed off last night. He is somehow interesting and flirtatious with me, he is charming too. He calls me these names and he makes me feel safe but I should be careful around him.
