𝐶𝐻𝐴𝑃𝑇𝐸𝑅 𝑆𝐼𝑋

                        I was wandering around the castle and doing my duty as the prince's knight. The other went to sleep but I can't sleep yet because I have my duties to do. I was on the fourth floor of Ophelia castle and close to the balcony. I noticed someone standing there, watching the sky and the moon. I walked closer to see who it was. It was Maxine standing there and she's still wearing her red dress from the party. She turned around to see who was behind her and her eyes widened when she saw me, almost screamed.
          I immediately placed my hand on her mouth and told her to keep quiet, she listened to me and nodded. I took my hand away carefully and continued to watch her. 

         'What are you doing here this late?' I ask her. Wanting to know why she is still awake and not in her chamber. 

         'I couldn't sleep, that's all and shouldn't you be sleeping?' 

         'I am a knight and I have duties.' 

That made her look surprised even though she knew that. 

          'I just wanted to see you again.' She looked away from me and I couldn't believe it when she said that. 

          'You know we can't do this anymore, it's risky.'

          'I don't care if anyone sees us, I just want to be with you.' She says, looking up at me now with her doe eyes.

          'What about your family?' I ask her, looking down at her while she is staring at me. She comes closer to me and holds my hands. Our bodies are so close together. 

           'Let's not talk about my family at this moment. Right now, I want to be with you, okay?' That's all it took for me to hear and I gently pushed her to a wall and grabbed her right hand above her head and placed my hand on her hips. I stare at her like I want to kiss her and she noticed it too. 

            'Can I kiss you, princess?' I asked her, wanting an answer immediately. 

            'Yes, love. Please kiss me or I'll do it myself.'
I chuckled and pressed my lips against hers. We were kissing for a few minutes until we heard some voices from the halls. We stopped what we were doing and started parting away from each other. We walked closer to the hallway to see who was there. Then we see familiar faces. Darren and Alana in the hallway, kissing each other. They stopped kissing and turned around to see us. Alana's face is full of redness and so is Darren's too. Us too. 

         'It's not what it looks like." Darren says, looking at us while still holding Alana's hand. 

         'You sure about that?' I smirk. Looking at their hands, they immediately stopped holding hands and then they realized me and Maxine are also together. 

         'Wait, why is Maxine with you?' Alana asks. 

Maxine's face was filled with redness and she was blushing so hard. She didn't know what to say to Alana. 

         'I can say the same thing for you, why are you with Darren this late?' Maxine asks, crossing her arms together. 

         'Well, we're going out.' She blurs out.

         'I'm courting her.' Darren says out of the blue and everyone one of us are staring at him like he is crazy but what can you say, he has always been that. 

         'You guys are a couple?' Maxine asks them, standing next to me. 

         'You can say that.' Alana says, blushing and looking down on her feet. 'We aren't official though.' 

         'We will be in the future.' Darren says that with confidence and I almost believe that but surely they might end up together in the future. You never know what could happen.
            Darren and Alana leave to go to their chambers meanwhile
I'm still here with Maxine in the corridor. I turned to face her and she does the same, her eyes are on me while my eyes are on hers too. She is the most beautiful girl in the world for me and I gladly take her in every universe that exists out there. Maxine gives me a soft kiss on my cheek and turns around to go to her chamber as well. She waves at me and her smile is the cutest thing I have ever seen in my entire life. I can't have her but every moment I am with her, I feel like I am in heaven. As she leaves, I hear something from her mind and that makes me smile again.

He is the one for me.

My heart is hers.
Maxine isn't mine but I do love her.

I can hear everyone's thoughts and control their mind which terrifies me but that's my power and abilities that i can do. I can activate them whenever I want to so it's controllable. For now, at least, I can only hope it lasts forever.
           I continued to do my duty and walked around the castle to see if anything happened.
