♥︎Qhawe♥︎
AT XOLANI'S HOUSE
IN QHAWE'S BEDROOM
07:00As I was getting dressed, I was stressed about Khethiwe. When I left, she was still unconcious. I was worried about whether she is okay and whether she could go to school.
Ring!!Ring!!
I checked my phone and it was Zenzile, my younger sister.
~On the phone~
Me: Yah.Zenzile😘: Brother, when are you planning to come home? Ma is stressed about you.
Me: Me, why?
Zenzile😘: Because--
Ma😘: Qhawe, you have to come home as soon as possible.
Me: Why?
Ma😘: Because I said so, I told Clara to book you the next flight to KZN. It's urgent.
Me: But Ma, I have to focus on getting a job this side.
Ma😘: Awukahle wena. Ufike lana namhlanje, uyangizwa Qhawe? {Stop it. Be here today, do you hear me Qhawe?}
Me: Eish Ma..
Ma😘: Uyangizwa nah?! {Do you hear me?}
Me: Fine.
Ma😘: Good boy. Ngizok'bona {I'll see you}later.
Me: Bye Ma.
Ma😘: Bye-Bye. [Hangs up]
Gosh, I have to start packing now since I have to go to KZN.
Knock!Knock!
I opened the door and there stood Xolani with an envelope in his hand.
Xolani: This is yours, got delivered this morning. Kanti uyaphi uqoke kahle kanje? {Where are you going dressed all nice today?}
Me: KZN.
I took the envelope and opened it. It was the flight ticket and R200 notes, must be pocket money.
Xolani: Haibo, why don't you just drive there?
Me: Because your aunt wants me there this afternoon so I gotta fly out.
Xolani: Must be very important, phela u'Aunty ngeke athi uthathe i'flight mahala. {Aunty won't tell you to take a flight without a reason.}
Me: I know.
I let Xolani in and started packing for KZN. He sat on my bed and watched as I packed.
Xolani: So when do you think you're gonna come back?
Me: As soon as Ma's issues are solved, I'll fly back to Jozi.
Xolani: Okay, send my regards.
Me: Don't you wanna come with me?
Xolani: Nah dude, I'm not ready to face my mom after spending the 10K on her bank card.
Me: Oh yeah, there's that. (Giggles)
Xolani: What do you think she needs you for?
Me: I don't know but Imma find out.
Xolani: I just hope it's good news. So, you're leaving Ayanda behind?
Me: No, I saw two flight tickets so she's coming with me. Most probably, Ma wants to see her.
