♥︎Sibandi♥︎
AT SIBANDI'S HOUSE
IN THE KITCHEN
07:00

I was washing the dishes as I heard the sound of a baby's laughter. I stopped to listen clearly and it sounded as if it was from my ndumba (hut).

I walked to my Ndumba and there was the baby, a beautiful baby boy. I walked closer to him and carried him, I fell into a trance

"Sibandi, indlovukazi yethu imithe indlalifa yethu. Igama lakhe ngu'Sibusiso. Nimphathe kahle, kuze isizwe sethu sizoba namandla ingona phakade. Mageba..." {Sibandi, our Queen is pregnant wuth our heir. His name is Sibusiso. Treat him well, for our nation to be powerful forever. Makeba...}

I opened my eyes and the baby boy was gone, this as a sign. Wherever Khethiwe is, she is pregnant with our Heir.

I ululated in the ndumba at the thought of a gift being brought to our people.

AT AYANDA'S HOME
IN AYANDA'S BEDROOM
08:00

My Physiotherapist was here to help me with some physio. I had a cast on my left hand and my right foot. We were trying to work them out so I can go back to normal nefore my wedding.

Physiotherapist: 1...2...3..4..5, uhh-huh, 1...2..3..4...5, much better.

Knock! knock!

Me: Come in.

Jabulile, one of the helpers, walked in my room.

Jabu: Uhm, sis'Ayanda your wedding planner is here.

Me: Oh okay, I'll be down just now. Is Qhawe here?

Jabu: Not yet.

Me: He is such a man. (Giggles) It's alright, I'll call her. Please tell Carol to wait for me in the lounge, I'll be there in a few.

Jabu: Okay. (Leaves the room)

Physiotherapist: I think we are done for the day.

Me: Oh, thank you.

Physiotherapist: It's my pleasure.

She helps me put the casts back on and notes down the process in her note book. We give each other small hugs and I walk her out.

THE LOUNGE

We said our goodbyes and she left. I walked in the lounge and found Carol seated, waiting for me while sipping on a glass of orange juice.

Me: Oh hi Carol, I'm so sorry for making you wait.

Carol: Hi, Argh man it's no biggie.

I sat on the couch next to her.

Me: Is everything falling into place?

Carol: Yes, everything is falling into place. I just came here to tell you the dates of your fitting, cake tasting and ring shopping.

Me: Okay.

Carol: You have dress fitting with your braid's maids and maid of honour tomorrow at 09:30. After that, you have the cake tasting which is at 1pm. Your ring shopping will be on Wednesday at 2pm.

Me: That is amazing. At least I know that things are going to happen in order.

Carol: Yes, I will handle the rest. Oh and I need your guestlist, we have to start sending out invitations.

Me: Oh yes.

I grab my phone and forward the list to Carol.

Carol: That's a long list..(giggles) So, I need to prepare for atleast 500 to 600 people?
