It was early morning and as usual, the hallway was packed. However, instead of going to the training areas, Tanjiro decided to wait for (Y/N) and greet her who seemed to oversleep.

"Tanjiro?" The Love Pillar spoke, sneaking up on the boy who was focused on the girl's door before the interruption. He turned around, raising an eyebrow.

"Yes, Mitsuri?" He said with a smile, facing the petite girl.

Practically wanting to squeal, she bit her lip. "How are things with (L/N)?" It was a funny sight seeing Mitsuri hold her face with her palms, cheeks tinted from excitement and anticipation.

Tanjiro was surprised at the pillar's question but answered truthfully. "We are fine, why are you asking?"

She leaned into his ear, "I know everything."

Tanjiro blushed in confusion and embarrassment, giving an awkward chuckle. "What do you mean?"

"Ask (L/N) on a proper date. She likes you!" Mitsuri replied, ignoring the redhead's question. And with that, she ran outside the building, giggling. "Good luck!"

Tanjiro stood there. He didn't know how to respond, his cheeks as red as his eyes. It was all so sudden that it took him a couple of seconds to process before (Y/N)'s presence interrupted. 'Maybe I should...' He thought, calling the girl's name. '... ask her on a date.'

Now walking side by side to the training areas, Tanjro left (Y/N) to continue convincing the Water Pillar to train him. While the girl decided she was going to train with the Mist Pillar, hoping to improve on some skills she hadn't touched on before.

"Giyuu!" Tanjiro shouted as he knocked on the hashira's entrance, "I'm coming in!"

Walking inside, he was met with a meditating man who looked annoyed at Tanjiro's presence. Standing up, the Pillar towered over him like a... well a pillar.

"Leave," Giyuu spoke as he walked away from the demon slayer, clearly tired and annoyed with the situation.

Of course, Tanjiro never left. In fact, he was still there when it was mid-afternoon. Despite his constant pleas, the man continued to say no. Nor would he talk to him unless it consisted of convincing him to leave or refusing.

"Giyuu, I bought some onigiris! Want to eat them together?" The boy said with a large smile, his eyes glistening as he placed them down on the short table where Giyuu was seated.

Even though he so badly wanted the boy to leave, Giyuu couldn't deny he was hungry. Without a word, he unwrapped one of the onigiris and took a gentle bite, tasting the kelp and salmon flakes on his tongue.

"Giyuu, would you like to talk about anything?"

Silence.

"How was your day, Tomioka?"

More silence.

"Giyuu, have you ever gone on a date?"

Suddenly, the Pillar was intrigued by the question, looking up at Tanjiro with tired, curious eyes. "Why do you ask?"

Tanjiro beamed at the response, glad he got something out of him. "Oh, it's just... there's this girl and I was thinking of taking her out on a date. A proper one! I was hoping you could help me with that?"

Giyuu tried to remember the last time he had gone on a date. How long has it been? Five to six years? He didn't even know if it counted. Oh well. But still, he thought for a moment.

"What type of girl is she?"

Tanjiro was puzzled at the question, unsure of how to answer without sounding cliche. "Well, she's pretty, sometimes serious, caring, strong, mysterious, oh a-
