"The hormone treatment was a success. The next step is detox-1, K1308 will have to purge the tear. From brain wave activity monitoring, K1308 seems to still be having visions when he's sleeping. As medical proxy, you have to make the decision of if and when we administer a heavier dose of the Somnolen, quality sleep is necessary for his recovery. It is my professional recommendation that K1308 has the sleep aide added to his regimen," Dir. Anai informed Bella as they sat in her office.
"I thought visions only lasted six hours from a happy tear?", Bella inquired.
"The Team's theory is that K1308's mutated cell structure is changing how the chemicals operate," she responded.
"Okay... can I see the schedule you have for his drug administration?", Bella requested.
"Yup," Dir. Anai pulled up a holographic timetable.
Bella read it over and decided.
"Administer the drug every two nights for the next week".
"I strongly recommend that you reconsider, for his wellbeing. K1308 needs the standard hours to recuperate more effectively," Dir. Anai explained patiently and firmly.
"I understand your recommendation and I also understand that the decision lies with me. Allow him to experience the visions and do not put him to sleep, unless it is the time-slot I selected. Are we clear, Director Anai?", Bella said, unhurried.
"Like Theialos glass," Dir. Anai bit through a smile.
"You'll have to excuse me," Bella darted out of Anai's office and went to the cafeteria for lunch.
"Master, why must you antagonize everyone?", SHAIS emerged from its space and questioned Bella.
"SHAIS, what do you mean"?, Bella feigned ignorance.
"Master, you and K1308 decided on this course of action long ago! Why not tell Anai? Instead you have her think you're some evil bitch!", SHAIS worried its little head at people's perception of its Master.
"I dunno... it's fun. Did you see her face? She wanted to clobber me!", Bella laughed at the memory.
"Oh, Master... the road to self-improvement will be long and torturous," SHAIS foresaw and shook its bobblehead.
"Fucker...," Bella cursed at the little shit under her breath.
"Anyway! I'm actually sick and tired of wondering and worrying about how to make up for the shit that I did sooo... send word to Athan. I'm ready," Bella instructed.
"Master, are you sure?", SHAIS asked softly.
"Yup. Let's do it to it. I'm not a pussy-ass-bitch," she declared bravely.
"Dr. Athan has sent directions to where the procedure will take place," SHAIS reported, and if Bella was not mistaken, there was true sadness in the artifice.

TW: A little torture.
"Why here, Athan?", Bella said in distaste at the stark contrast that this dingy, dark and non-high-tech area had with the rest of the sanctuary.
"Because there won't be an alarm to alert when a Vampyr is in distress. That is, you," he explained dryly, his head bowed as he rummaged through a cart that operated like a safe.
"Oh... smart... would there still be a Keeper alert?", she wondered if all their bases were covered.
"No Keeper alert. The location of the sanctuary doesn't exist: not in the human world, nor the magical world. We'll be good as long as K1308 remains under and I have a friend deferring your chip when it sends alerts," he assured and surfaced from the passcode-protected cart .
