LUCA'S POV

"What was that, Luc? Why was it so real? What happened to Nene?", Vittorio implored.

"Part of it is the prophetic quality that remains in the Halonite, and Nene's soul remained in our realm, just not the same plane as us, because she wanted us to have the information regarding Geomancy. It felt so real because you were her earthly tether, giving her enough juice to materialize long enough to give us what we need. Subsequently, a low-level shadow demon slipped through the cracks in the waning barrier. She didn't re-die and she isn't vanquished or whatever... Adam's cleansing fire mixed with the residual powers of the righteous sword, Di, sent her soul to the great beyond," I patiently explained, knowing all this can be overwhelming.

"Shit, I never want to feel like that again...," he admitted.

"Yeah, I honestly can't promise that you won't," I admitted and smiled sheepishly.

"Of fuckin' course...," he mumbled and dropped his head back in resignation.

"Who told you to awaken ancestral sight, family"?, I jeered him and his just-emerging latent power. Can't believe we share such a relatively close ancestor. Small world, huh?

"What now?", he asked me.

"My original plan was to keep breaking that order of secrecy, but that low-level shadow demon made me realize that whatever I do to empower my side has an equal and opposite reaction on their side... so, I need to awaken everyone's powers, or, at least, allow the most fortified minds to develop through the Halonite," I shared.

"We're gonna drug the population?".

"Yeah... but what I want is loyalty so, that won't go over too well".

"I wouldn't imagine so... to get followers, you have to take care of their needs first. No one gives a shit if aliens are real when they can't afford to live a full life".

"Right... right...".

Third Person POV

"Do you see, Adamma? How can he be trusted when he doesn't even care about such a vulnerable group as the elderly?", they proferred.

"Right," Mma agreed absentmindedly.

"And, don't forget, he murdered his friend! Shakeria didn't even see it coming. Then he killed DJ KoolGang who was the largest contributor to the StoneAit Organization in Aid and Relief (SOAR). Then he drugged several country leaders to control the physical resources iconic to their country for his personal gain. He's power-hungry and it's up to you, the Lancelot, to be brave for the little people," they continued showing Mma moments through the Realisphere.

"So, what now?", she asked.

"Now, you find Tate Macmerry and help him create the device that is going to help the world", they answered.
