CHAPTER TWO ✶ HIDDEN FEAR
The race track is surrounded by rolling hills and lush greenery. The day is gloomy for a gloomy situation. The atmosphere is charged with tension, as Bora, Woojin, and Hera gather to watch the race.
Jae-i stands beside her red race car, adjusting her racing gloves. She's dressed in a tailored racing suit that hugs her figure, her hair still loose. Despite her composed exterior, her mind is racing with thoughts of the conversation she had with Rian just minutes ago.
Rian stands next to his yellow race car, his jaw set with determination. He's also in a racing suit, looking every bit the competitive racer. His emotions are a mix of anger, longing, and the desire for closure. This race isn't just about speed; it's about settling the unresolved tension between them.
Bora steps forward to serve as the unofficial referee. She looks at Jae-i and Rian, her expression serious yet hopeful.
"Alright, you two know the rules. Three laps around the track. The winner gets to make a wish, and the loser has to grant it. No cheating, no shortcuts. Are you ready?"
Jae-i and Rian nod, their eyes meeting briefly before they turn their focus to the track ahead. The roar of the engines fills the air as they rev their cars, the powerful machines ready to unleash their full potential.
"On your marks... get set... go!" Bora shouted
The cars accelerate with a screech of tires, the sound echoing throughout the valley. Bora shrieked and closed her eyes in fear of being hit.
"You alright?" Woojin asked with worry but still chuckled at her reaction
Bora gulped and nodded in embarrassment as she walked towards him and Hera
Meanwhile, Jae-i and Rian navigate the track with precision and skill, each turn and straightaway putting their driving abilities to the test. The competition is fierce, and neither is willing to give in.
