CHAPTER NINE KANG HA AND HIS BROTHER

Kang Ha and In-Han were related.

Bora's mind raced, trying to process the information. She had always found Kang Ha's presence annoying, never considering him a true friend. Now, she felt a deep sense of unease knowing his true intentions.

Her thoughts spiraled as she replayed every interaction with him, scrutinizing his words and actions with this new perspective. Every moment he had lingered on the edges of their group, every seemingly innocent question he had asked, now felt like pieces of a deceitful puzzle.

She remembered the night she found In-han and the pen-cam, the fear and determination she felt. The scene was etched in her mind: the crash, Ms. Han's frantic demeanor, and the lifeless body of In-han.

She had felt an overwhelming surge of responsibility guiltiness as she clutched the pen-cam, realizing it held vital evidence. The adrenaline had propelled her to run, to protect the truth from being buried.

Bora weaved through the crowd. She's walked along the hallway when saw sees a familiar face in the throng of students. Bora stoped her tracks and her heart skipped a beat.

Kang Ha is standing in the hallway, it seems like he is waiting for someone. He looks up and their eyes meet. Bora's face turns pale. The noise of the hallway fades into a dull roar in her ears.

Kang Ha smiles slightly, unaware of Bora's shock "Hey, you need something?"

Bora's vision blurs. She's no longer in the bustling hallway but back at the scene of the accident a few months ago. The image of  In-Han, lying motionless, flashes before her eyes. Her breath catches in her throat.

Kang Ha stepped forward, concern etched on his face "Are you okay? You're pale. Do you need to sit down?"

Bora finally finds her voice, though it's shaky and weak."I'm sorry. I can't..."

She turns abruptly and flees down the hallway, her footsteps echoing. Kang Ha stands there, confused and concerned, watching her disappear into the crowd. The hallway buzzes back to life, but Bora's world feels like it's crashing down.
