The Other Side (On Hold)

[Hope walks away from Alaric, Kaleb and a dying MG as she finds out about MG killing Landon. She's sobbing as she falls to the ground, holding onto a tree for support. The song 'Echo' starts playing in the back ground.]

[Alaric and Lizzie are talking in Lizzie and Josie's dorm room.]

Alaric: She has lost a lot and you know that. She's just afraid to let herself care. 

Not a lot of people knew the truth of what all happened in Hope's life, and they were all very curious. 

[Alaric and Hope are in Alaric's office, fighting about Ted.]

Alaric: Starting with your dead mother, ending with your dead father- 

"Alaric/Dad!" People yelled with wide eyes. 

[Hope is talking to Landon his first night at the school about her family]

Hope: [Laying a book on the table] My dad was one of the Earths Original vampires.

Landon: Was?

Hope: [Nodding slightly, sadly] Was. Turns out even immortal beings can find a way to die eventually. [Landon stares at her sadly and shocked] 

Hope: My mother was a werewolf Alpha.

Landon: There's that was again. 

Hope sighed and looked at her hands, sad as she thought about all of the crap she'd been trying to move past these last few years. 

[Hope, seeing Landon's dead body in the woods the first time, collapses next to it and Rafael, sobbing]

Hope: (V.O.) It's gonna hurt. It always will. Some days will be harder than others...

Hope: [To Lizzie] You know what? Maybe I was jealous. Maybe I wanted what you had. A simple day with my family. [Crying, Hope looks at a couple of family photos] I lost half of my stuff in that fire, including the only painting I made with my dad. Why would I do that to myself? 

"We could always make new ones now." Klaus told her and she turned and smiled at him gratefully. 

[After Hope wakes up from being knocked out before Hayley died, she's panicked as Freya tries to calm her down]

Hope: Where's my mom?

[The lights around her bed shatter and Freya pauses in her movement to look at them.] 

[Rafael is going through a memory potion to try and remember the night he blacked out, Hope is sitting at his feet, panicking]

Hope: Is Landon okay, Raf?!

Rafael: I don't know, okay... I don't- I don't know...

[They both cry in sadness and frustration] 

[Freya sits in front of Hope, on Hopes dorm bed]

Freya: She's gone.

Hope: No, no. No. No, no, no, no, no, no.... [Freya pulls her into a hug as she sobs]

Everyone watched sadly as the girl started sobbing like that, especially since most of the people in that room had never seen her cry before, and now that they had it was a bit unnerving. 

[Hope holds Rafael as he cries over Landon's body in the woods.]

[Hope looks through her closet for something to wear to Hayley's funeral.]
