Izabela frowned to herself as her eyes raced across the pages of her book. She was laying on her white comforter bed while her naked legs kicked back and forth in the air. She was sporting an oversized t-shirt and white hipster underwear. Her brunette hair was down, covering her shoulders and some of her back.

Izabela bit her lip as she flipped to the next page of the odd book.

The book itself was something that Lavinia begged her to read claiming it was the best book she ever read. Izabela couldn't help but trust her with her taste in books only to be let down as she saw what the book was really about.

The book that sat clenched in her hands was called Lolita. A fairly odd book, as Izabela would say. With a large age gap between two people. The female character was younger than Izabela, making her feel even more uncomfortable.

The relationship between the two characters left her feeling wrong as she had no other choice than to quickly close the book and place it back in her bag. Don't get her wrong, Izabela was a proud bookworm, but that book in particular rubbed her the wrong way.

The brown haired girl looked at her clock that sat on her nightstand. The time read, 7:45pm causing a certain panic to erupt in Izabela's chest.

He's going to be here soon!

Quickly gathering her school bag, she walked to her dresser setting her black bag on the floor next to it. She looked through her drawers quickly finding pajamas to wear.

Once she found what she wanted she stepped into her connected bathroom, taking the quickest shower of her life.

Walking back out into her room she wore an oversized black hoodie and black leggings. Her long brown hair was now tied up into a bun at the top of her head.

The sound of a car door slamming made a scared look appear on Izabela's face. She rushed to her window that faced the driveway and spotted her stepbrother holding his workout bag tightly in his hands as he walked towards the front door.

Zion always works out after school on Wednesdays, he plays rugby for the school team and is always trying to improve his figure. Wednesdays are the only time Izabela doesn't feel scared being at home—well, that is until his arrival time.

Stepping away from the window, the panicked breathing girl rushed to her bed pulling the covers over her, quickly turning off her lamp, trying her best to make it seem like she's sleep.

He doesn't bother her when she's sleeping.

Heavy and quick footsteps filled the hallway outside of her door making her clutch the white comforter against her face. The door creaked open as Zion popped his head into the room scanning the area until he saw Izabela laying in the bed.
