____________________"Try to be quiet, please. My mother's sleeping and although she's British, she's still a black woman who likes her beauty sleep." André said, his voice in a hushed whisper as he held open the door letting his guests inside his childhood home.
Liam's hand slightly tightened around Izabela's as he lead her through the small house. He could sense that she was on edge, questioning the new environment. He stole a quick glance at her and noticed the way her eyes dance around the retro decor of the house.
Her eyes eventually landed on Liam who gave a reassuring smile and squeezed her hand once more. "You okay?" He mouthed to her, blindly following André to his room. Izabela nodded, the half smile on her face indicating she still wasn't quite sure her decision to come with was safe or not.
André opened his room door and ushered them in, softly closing his door, his movements precise as he tried to be as quiet possible.
Liam sat on a worn out black chair next to André's desk and placed Izabela on his lap, his lips lifting up at the corners as he noticed her sudden flustered state.
"Okay..." André sighed out, limping over to his desk and plopping down in his rollie chair. "..Now, I managed to find a possible location for your Uncle, which was.." He typed quickly on his keyboard, the bright glow from his computer illuminating his brown skin.
"...Some place around the outskirts of London, heading towards Liverpool." Liam leaned in, his hands on Izabela's waist as he watched André pull up the London map, showing how far the pinged location was.
André continued, "At first I couldn't get a precise location but after I fiddled with a few more codes I was able to ping an old warehouse and look at this.." He put the location into the map system and watched as his computer zoomed in on the location.
Liam leaned in more his eyes squinting as he looked at the location, his brows furrowed. "My father's warehouse?" He looked over at André, "My Uncle was there?"
Before the gears could start turning in his head André shook his head, "No, one of his minions or whatever, was there when I was searching through security cameras—sorry to your dad but, his cameras are shit. I hacked into them in under a minute."
Liam looked at his friend with a blank look, "You know why."
Andre scoffed, "Yeah mate but still, his security cameras are shit, just because people are scared of your father doesn't mean they won't try."
Try what?...Izabela thought to herself, taking in the silly posters on his wall.
Liam rolled his eyes and subconsciously fiddled with the ends of Izabela's dress, his warm fingers gently grazing her skin.
