"Aug..." I groan, reaching my hand toward the roof while my head lays on the damp cold stone floor. "Where did...", I mumbled before turning my palm to myself.
"And where did this come from?" Holding my wrist out in front of me, I sit up. On my wrist seems to be a bracelet or cuff of some kind. It feels... tight. I grasp the cuff, however, even with all my effort, I'm unable to rip it off my arm.
"Damn it..." I exclaim before suddenly the screen on the cuff seemingly powered on; The light briefly blinding me.
"What the-" On the screen, a fading line rotated in a circle, however, after a moment it flashed away and the screen changed. Now, several icons appeared, each with unique symbols on them.
"Well... Isn't that nice...", I exclaimed sarcastically before pushing myself to stand. With a quick glance around the room, I noticed I didn't recognize where I was. The mossy dark grey stone walls, the green engravings of symbols marked everywhere, and the alien plants that align the room made this quite easy to tell.
"Where the fuck am I!?", I yelled, spinning around. Though, I stop after a moment with a quick sigh of discontent before walking around to find any clues of where I am.
"Huh?", I see something beside what looks to be a stone door covered in moss and vines. Getting closer, I can see it clearer than before, "A... Button?" It looks out of place here being the only thing that seems to be made of metal and plastic. Though, it still seems to be covered in grime and vines.
Curious and a bit confused with my situation, I press the button. "Creeeek", suddenly the stone door starts to open. I can even see the moss rip off the door as it reaches its peak.
I look out into the open door seeing a long hallway with lit lanterns on the wall. "Woah..." However, as I stepped into the hallway I noticed that there was a trail of... Red... As if something was dragged away from here. "Oh....."
Walking forward into unknown territory, I looked back at the door as it quickly closed. "Shit!" I ran to the door, looking around it finding a button similar to the one inside the room, but with fewer vines but now a new red handprint.
"-Gross....", I slowly backed up from the button. Then, I continued forward into the lantern-lit hallway.
As I watch the walls, I notice It seems there is no engraving of those symbols that were back in the room. I also begin to notice the candles in the lanterns are about as high as a child's thumb. The flame flickers as I continue walking.
However, I looked down beside the continued trail of red. There looks to be a simple dagger left here. "Huh, maybe it'll come in handy?" I thought before picking up the dagger. "After all, I would probably need this if I see whatever made this trail of... Blood..."
"Actually... What's this on here?", I wiped my finger on the blade. The blade is covered in this crusty dark green substance. When I wiped my finger on it, nothing came off it. "Huh... Whatever..."
I hold the dagger to my side deciding just to continue forward. Though, forward meant following the blood trail into the unknown. At the thought, I simply took a deep breath and pressed on.
.
.
.After a while, suddenly I heard the sound of something... eating? It sounds like someone eating a watermelon or something else juicy. I crouched and hid along the wall before continuing further.
Then as I approached whatever was making that disgusting sound, I instinctively hid behind the door to the room. The door was open to where I could see inside the room but large enough that I could hide along the wall without it seeing me.
