You came to the conclusion that this game could be played by two people and you were about to become player number two.

You felt disappointed in yourself for giving up so easily and without a fight, especially since you were deprived of the means of earning money and living at a standard level. How could a few stupid rules make you suddenly become so submissive to someone you hated with a passion in one day? This was not the time or place for you to become a meek good girl, because you were already past that stage.

So you returned home as quietly as you could, glad that Alastor wasn't around. You walked through the living room, looking for the list of rules you knew was in the house, but when you didn't find it there, you headed upstairs. You suspected that Alastor kept it in his bedroom, well, hypothetically your bedroom but that was only on paper. So you stood in front of the door, almost reaching for the handle, but you suddenly hesitated. What if he was there? You didn't want to get into trouble, again, but you wanted to get in there at that moment so you decided to knock politely, mustering all the politeness you had. Or mustering up all your acting talent because none of your polite behavior was intended to be sincere.
So you knocked and sure enough, the door opened and there stood a man you definitely didn't want to see, but you were forced to.

“Do you need anything, my dear?” he asked sweetly with that annoying smile and your hand was literally itching to punch him right in the face

“Do you have a list of rules? I'd like to take a look at it again.” you said, trying to sound charming and it seemed to catch him off guard for a moment, but a second later he acted like nothing had happened

“Of course! Here, darling, come in boldly, what's mine is also yours~” he chuckled and your blood boiled “Is this what you're looking for?” he handed you a piece of paper with numbered sentences and you nodded. However, you read a few of them quickly to make sure it was the list and not some fake he created as a joke. Fortunately, it seemed to be original, especially since at the very bottom there were the signatures of the angels, Lucifer, and yours and Alastor's. “Is something bothering you?”

“Oh, totally not!” Yes, you, you fucking son of a bitch “Why do you think so?”

“You seem a little absent-minded.” he leaned slightly towards you and narrowed his eyes, looking you from head to toe

“That’s nothing!” you said it as if you were gossiping with a friend and you weren't close to committing a crime “Anyway, thanks for lending it to me!” you waved your hand in thanks, using the word 'lending' because you expected that you had to give it back to him soon

“No problem, darling!” he chuckled and you walked out of the bedroom and closed the door behind you, then in a split second the smile turned into a furious frown on your face. However, you pursed your lips so that no curses or insults escaped them, because it would probably only make things worse. You guessed that he might have eyes not only around his head but literally around this house, so you chose to insure yourself rather than risk it.

However, you now had a list.

A malicious smile was on your face as you had been carefully following every rule on the piece of paper in your hands for several minutes. Honestly, it made you feel a little better because it gave you some ideas that would allow you to attack back. And you thought it would be a great idea.

You went through the entire list, finding better and better sentences and lingering on some of them longer. Maybe "better" wasn't the right word because you thought the rules were terrible, old-fashioned and full of misogyny. But this isn't the first time you've had to act to defend your dignity.
